I had a five star experience with Kimberly and the Sandy Spring bank team in Springfield. The branch was extremely polished and the staff was super responsive to my needs. I would highly recommend them.

People are excellent and helpful. Bank processes and products are not well developed. Sandy Spring Bank has not yet decided what it wants to be when it grows up.

Phenomenal, friendly and helpful staff. This is banking the way it used to be. The Springfield branch is always a pleasure to work with, but I have had similarly great experience with their business and online banking teams. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I rarely go to a branch as I feel that now a days you can do so much online. Well Sandy Spring does not allow you to pay your mortgage online if you don't have a checking account with them. I came to this branch to make a payment to my escrow so that my mortgage payment would be lower. When I received my receipt it said that the payment was applied as a regular mortgage payment. I pointed this out to the cashier and I was told that it was fine and it was processed correctly. Well it was not and this has created a HUGE issue. Because this payment was not applied to my escrow it caused my mortgage payments to be unapplied. I received letters stating that I was passed due and I received a late charge. I have been trying to resolve this issue since October and still have not received a resolution. I have called customer service multiple times. I do not understand how a bank does not allow you to access your account online and make payments and how an error from the teller has caused me to have a late charge and the bank will not resolve it when every customer service agent I have spoken to can clearly see that this was a bank error and not mine. I regret coming in to make that payment and will avoid ever having to bank here again.

I've been a client of Donna Wilson for over 10 years. After starting at this branch I followed her. She is magnificent person and a great leader. I've only experienced great service from her and her staff. I recommend my clients to her at every opportunity. They all have had the same treatment.

It's sad that calling my own bank no one can help me to reset my password, the call cervice says go to the branch to do it,I called the branch twice the branch says sorry we dont have that information here,I ask to talk to a manager they won't do it,all if got is an e mail to put a complaint to sandy spring,its obvious they dont care.

I have found the staff at this branch to be professional, friendly and easy to talk to. They have gone out of their way to meet my banking needs and have been pleasant and easy to work with. I appreciate that they have remained open through the pandemic! That has been a lifesaver!

The worst customer service! They would put you on a “brief hold” and this is just their trick to get away with it and they would never pick up the phone. I was even given the extension to call them directly and not having to wait for hours to get transferred, guess what nobody picked up the phone! The worst bank ever! Looks like the managers don’t even care about their customer service either!
