We couldn't be happier with how our new kitchen turned out. Kate C. took our ideas and turned them into a beautiful new kitchen and mudroom (including a dog bath!) -- something even better than we expected. She combined our disparate ideas into something greater than the sum of their parts, demonstrating expertise and a guiding hand.
In addition to leading us through the design stages, Kate made sure everything else ran smoothly. The project remained on or ahead of schedule thanks to her ongoing dedication to the work and her partnership with the contractor and knowledge of vendors. In addition to connecting us with a wonderful contractor, she directed us to an appliance expert who understood our needs and ideas, and who led us to high-end but affordable decisions.

I want to share my genuine experience dealing with this business. It's been incredibly disappointing. Despite my efforts to convey my concerns, they've chosen to dismiss them as fake, which couldn't be further from the truth.
Let me be clear: my review is based on firsthand experience, not conjecture. The lack of professionalism, honesty, and integrity displayed by this company is truly disheartening.
I've seen similar sentiments echoed in the poor reviews on Yelp, reinforcing my own experience. It's a shame that a business would resort to such tactics.
Their exorbitant quote for a small kitchen renovation was beyond reasonable. Their refusal to acknowledge our interactions only adds insult to injury.
This is more than just a review; it's a warning to others. Please, heed my advice and steer clear of this company. No one deserves to be treated with such disrespect and dishonesty.
And to the business in question: denying our interactions won't erase the truth. My review stands as a testament to the reality of my experience, and I won't be silenced.

Our experience with Nicely Done Kitchens was exceptional from the very beginning! From my very first inquiry, we received a very quick response and were set up with an appointment with Kate, our incredible kitchen designer, almost immediately.
We had gotten quotes from other places and designers but none completely impressed us with their design sense and professionalism as did Kate. Throughout the process, Kate took the time to understand what our vision was and made recommendations to make it 10x better!! She also was able to give us a beautiful mudroom that worked in our budget. Furthermore, she's incredibly kind and just a treat to work with!
Once we started the project, we were also blown away by Steve our contractor and his amazing team. At the very beginning, he shared a detailed week by week timeline, gave us direct access to him to communicate all along the way and stuck with the plan! Even when issues come up (like Eddie using his electrical expertise to bring our awful kitchen wiring up to code) the team was able to keep our planned schedule. They also went above and beyond to ensure even the smallest detail met our expectations. This includes Sergio with the with the beautiful cabinet installations and Ceasar attending to the many kitchen details.
I can't recommend NDK enough for the seamless and enjoyable process along the way and for giving us the kitchen of our dreams!

We had a fantastic experience working with Nicely Done! Kate was our designer, and was wonderful about presenting design options that matched the look we were going for. Her taste is impeccable, and as soon as she saw photos of what we loved, she got to work and made the whole process easy and fun. Jose was our contractor and did an amazing job with his crew. They were on time, worked hard every day, communicated well and did a beautiful job. Overall, the whole project came in on budget and ahead of schedule and we're thrilled with our new kitchen!

Three years ago, my wife and I decided to completely renovate our kitchen. Based on discussions with several neighbors who had used them, and after looking at the work they had done, we were very impressed with a local firm, Nicely Done Kitchens and Bathrooms. After contacting them, we began working with one of their professional designers, Dona Thewes. She listened closely to our ideas, gave us attractive options, and helped us with everything from layout, options for cabinets and appliances, to flooring and color schemes. A significant problem was the nationwide backlog for cabinets and appliances. Dona followed up on our order and kept us up to date throughout the process. Once tear out and construction started, our project supervisor, Scott, brought in skilled craftsmen in the various trades, coordinated their work, and essentially kept us involved in the process. The workers were uniformly pleasant, professional and helpful. Cleanup at the end of each workday left the site orderly and ready for the next day’s work. At one point, after installation of the combined oven and microwave, we found that the height of the microwave in the cabinet was too high for easy use. Together with Dona and Scott, we came up with a good fix and Scott personally came in to execute the alterations, which turned our great. We were thrilled with the finished kitchen and continue to enjoy it every day. We have received numerous compliments from family and friends as to the design, functionality and overall appearance. The finished kitchen is just exactly what we were hoping for. We recently had a realtor look at the house to give us a rough appraisal of its market value. She was extremely impressed with the kitchen and noted that it added significantly to the value of the house—more than we had paid for the installation. At several points during construction, we were called by James, the owner of Nicely Done Kitchens, to discuss progress and to ensure that we were satisfied. The personal involvement at all levels within the company was impressive and it certainly showed in the quality of the finished product. We would enthusiastically recommend Nicely Done Kitchens and Baths and will certainly look to them for any similar upgrades in the future.

We knew when we moved into our home, our kitchen/dining area would need a massive renovation to become the space we wanted for cooking/entertaining. It took us four years to be able to move forward with the project. Of all the companies we interviewed and received quotes from, Nicely Done Kitchens and Baths and their designer Doña was the most innovative with the approach, design, and space planning. She was very aware of our budget and was able to easily work with it.Doña was fantastic to work with, navigating my husband’s and my differing tastes, understanding how we wanted to use the kitchen and leaving no detail overlooked. When we added our hall bath to the project, she was able to pull together the perfect design for us just from a single conversation.She was as excited for the renovation as we were and was creative when it came to items we wanted to incorporate (an electric fireplace on the dining room wall and a specific look/feel to our split-level staircase) and we always felt we had a listening ear and someone in our corner at every decision point.When we are ready to undertake the additional two baths in our home, I will not hesitate to contact Doña and Nicely Done Kitchens and Baths.

Highly recommend them! We are still in awe of the beautiful kitchen that Kate Couchman designed and Steve & crew built to replace our dated kitchen and never-used dinning room. Easy to work with and very responsive.Look, I'm a realist...every job will have some hiccups. Nicely Done partnered with us to work through each one. For example, when unexpected duct work prevented us from opening up a wall, Kate spent an afternoon with us moving cardboard around the floor so we could visual new options for the size and direction of our island. The result was a smaller than planned island but we actually loved Kate's idea of creating an additional counterspace and shifting the wine fridge against the wall that remained! Win-win! Steve and his team turned Kate's designs into stunning reality. The result is a kitchen that elicits compliments over and over from family and friends.Services: Remodeling

INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL - What a disappointment. I wanted to use this company because they are a small business in my community - I walk past their showroom daily. However, I was treated like I wasn't important from the day I walked in. Two times I came in to request a design consult on my kitchen remodel. Both times my contact information was scratched down on the back of yellow pad, and both times I had to follow up to see why no one followed up with me. When the designer, Lindsay, finally called me back (after I complained to the owner), it was "What's your budget?" "Send me some pictures" and "I'll talk to my contractor and get back to you" -Which she never did. When I walked back in to tell the owner that I was taking my business elsewhere, he still referred me back to the same designer who sent me another email explaining that "these things take time." Condescending, No sense of customer urgency, and a lack of ownership - by the owner. I feel like they saved me the trouble of what probably would have been a horrible experience if I had let them into my home. I reached out to another firm, and they had a designer in my home in less than a week.

Even with new appliances, our kitchen was looking sad due to its original cabinets from 1972. So it was time to change! We had heard about Nicely Done Kitchens for a few years now and decided to go in & get an estimate.Our first meeting with our designer, Cathy Goss, set the superb tone for the rest of the project. In getting an idea of what we wanted for our townhouse kitchen, she carefully went through the various options available while taking all of our questions through each step.When the time came in for the actual measuring, Cathy checked and re-checked each. We reviewed the proposal in a process that was pretty painless. We were introduced to Alexandria as our Project Manager who went through her role, the time allocated, and what to expect.While we faced some delays not by Nicely Done Kitchens but with the actual cabinets due to COVID and the supply chain, Alexandria kept us fully informed and worked with us to prepare us for the installation’s daily timeline. We can’t say enough about Brian our installer who worked smoothly with the plumbers and electricians to give us basically…a totally new kitchen.It was completed on-time, on cost, and with constant evaluation by the great staff at Nicely Done Kitchens.
