“I really don't know what I would do without this Giant and it's grocery pickup service. The employees are always kind and pick out great products. They also always call regarding replacements and to check up on other matters related to my order. They bring the groceries to my car with a good attitude and are just so great. Sometimes I think even the manager or the head of a particular grocery section brings the groceries to my car. They really are just great. When life is chaotic, I rely on this grocery store.”

“This place has a abundance of fresh produce from large Mexican avocados and mangos to mountains of peppers. I grabbed a couple fist fulls of fresh red chili peppers and bright orange habaneros along with some assorted vegetables for a spicy curry recipe at a reasonable price during my visit. My aunt and I also selected some delicious cooked duck and pork (asian style) that was rich and delicious and worth every cent.Fresh world further lived up to their name with a fish market and butcher which provided me with some Mexican and Chinese style sausage made on site that day.If you are looking for reasonably priced produce and fresh cooked and affordable Peking duck and pork than visit Fresh world instead of your local grocery chain. The only minor gripe is that we were approached by very religious christians that followed my aunt and I to our car telling us how much Jesus loved us and pushing pamphlets. They were not threatening and only pushy. Had they taken a polite no for an answer, I would have given the place 5 stars.”

“This Giant is pretty nice. The entrance is inside an indoor plaza. Parking was easy and plentiful. EVERYTHING was very well stocked which is worth the four stars alone in these times. The store seemed clean and staff was friendly and helpful. I happened to be nearby which is why I stopped in, and if I find myself around this way again I'd stop here to do some quick shopping.”

“My go to place for a yummy treat after work! The staff is pretty hands off but that's nice because I don't go to grocery stores to chat with the employees. Cashiers are usually very nice though. The one door closing at 10 pm is sometimes annoying though because then you have to walk all the way around the place to go inside. It's cold inside also.”

“Nice store you wanna know why? I can get Cristal beer here from Peru. I love this beer and I have been searching everywhere for it. I first tried it at Pio Pio in Hell's Kitchen Manhattan NYC and feel in love with it. I have found it in a couple Peruvian Restaurants in the Washington DC area but never in a retail store until my by chance visit to La Latina Market in Springfield Virginia. It's not the only reason I like this store. It's a small store but it has the merchandise of a full size grocery store. The even have a small but nice fresh meat department and fresh vegetables. The store of course is geared towards Latinos but is really a nice market for anyone and I think some people miss out by not going in and trying these neat little markets. I didn't use to but now I love trying different foods from other cultures. Not only main course meals but things like chips and desserts and here they have plenty of all of that to sample. Now that I know they sell a beer I like I'm sure I'll be stopping by more often and checking out the stores other merchandise.”

“I have to comment on what a great experience I had at CVS in West Springfield. It seems they are overwhelmed with customer demands these days. But I had a challenge where my doctor, the pharmacy, my insurer and a drug manufacturer could not communicate to resolve an expensive drug my doctor wanted me to take. Only Salma Mohamed cared enough or had the skills to follow it through to the end for me. I really appreciated her kindness to me and her confidence that she could solve a problem others passed the buck on.”

“We were customers (victims?) of the Walgreens on Main Street in Fairfax for years, and had nothing but terrible experiences: rude staff, mistakes in scheduling refills, and the frequent promise a prescription would be ready at a given time, only to find out that it wasn't. Finally we got a dose of common sense and switched to the Port Royal Road store. The head pharmacist there is great - pleasant, willing to answer questions, patient; the rest of the staff lacks the surliness that seems to be a requirement for Main Street employees. It's still way more expensive than Costco, but for some of my prescriptions, it's been a very welcome change.”
