A test that should have been one visit was turned into 4 visits, very unprofessional and frustrating experience over all! The staffs are incompetent and don’t communicate with each other!

I had to take my 12 month old in for a walk in appointment 30 mins before closing. Fred was unbelievably kind and accommodating. My daughter had never had a blood draw before and as her mama I was extremely anxious about it. He was gentle and super sweet with my daughter… she barely flinched and he was so quick to get it over with for us both! Fred - thank you for making what could’ve been a very unpleasant and traumatizing experience so quick and easy!

I am so confused as to why the ratings here are so low. Every person I dealt with here was wonderful. It was a really busy day and it seemed to run so smoothly and efficiently. Also the phlebotomists (I had two different ones) were excellent. Never felt a stick and had my blood drawn four different times. I would definitely come back here if I needed lab work done in the future. Front desk was also very organized and helpful. Great staff all around and well run office.

The worst blood test experience I ever had. Ended up going back home because my veins are not good enough for this specific location. Although I took my son at the same location earlier and everything was great. Don’t think I ever come back to this Labcorp

The lady who took my blood works at Dr.Joshi’s office in Springfield, VA. She commented on my jeans, asking if I’m bringing bell bottoms back as soon as she saw me. Huh? Flared pants are on trend and even if they weren’t, why are you making that snide comment. Then she proceeded to ask if I was okay and needed water as soon as I sat down to get my blood drawn in the room, in a passive aggressive manner. I said why did you ask, she said oh because I was wondering if you’re usually this quiet… I had just sat down. I later said “I am okay, are YOU okay?” Because she kept harping on it. I didn’t do anything to warrant such odd behavior. My husband was with me and she then asked me how we met and multiple inappropriate comments like how I have to watch other women around my husband. I’m sorry but I’m here for BLOOD WORK. How I met my husband, what’s my ethnic background and all other personal questions are inappropriate. You can be nice and professional at the same time, that IS a thing.

I visited the lab this morning for some lab work, and I must say that Tanisha provided an exceptional experience. She was incredibly polite and friendly throughout the process. Tanisha efficiently handled my insurance information and order, and also conducted the lab work with professionalism. This was by far my best lab visit, as I was in and out fairly quickly. Kudos to Tanisha for making the experience pleasant and efficient.

Garbage location. Avoid this unprofessional location at all cost. Doesn’t matter if you make an appointment or not they will still take every walk in that comes in before you and have you wait no less than 40 minutes. Never again!

They were understaffed but it was very slow and all the folks sitting were confused. The kiosk may lose your registration, the reception may not be able to help for a while. Don’t listen to them telling you “soon”. Make sure you’re registered.Dropping off stool samples will also be a long wait.

The 2 ladies at the front desk were rude and very unorganized. It took 45 minutes for me to do a simple urinalysis. They also tend to rush you whenever you’re trying to review any documents to make sure it’s correct. I didn’t appreciate the attitudes they gave off.

I had a great experience at this Labcorp facility. I had an appointmentand after an easy check-in I was called right away. The Tech was very friendly and good at her job which made for a pleasant experience.

The associate withdrew my blood on Friday November 10th didn’t know what she is doing , first she saw my left arm then she said right arm started withdraw the blood did one test tube then 2nd one tried she was moving needle, I didn’t know she had not filled the 2 nd test tube , today I had Dr. appointment and he said you have half of the results, very disappointing, did blood work again. The associate should let me know that she didn’t done her job, so I can do again that time .On the top I got a big Bruce on my arm.

Almost every chair was full when I walked in but still got out if there within 40 minutes with no appointment. I had a black lady with thick glasses that was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, professional and I didn’t feel the needle at any point of withdrawing blood! Hands down the best experience I have ever had having blood taken. If anyone from Labcorp is reading this, have that lady train your other blood takers.

I completely disagree with Danielle Riccio's review. I'm sorry she had a bad experience, but the women there were so kind and helpful to me. The lady at the front who took my payment and gave me the urine cup was so kind. Latrice (sp?) was the phlebotomist who took my blood and she was so nice, kind and courteous. I really enjoyed my experience. I came as a walk-in patient and had a great experience. Loved it. It was super quick too! Will definitely return to this location.

I have only written a few reviews on Google but feel this facility is worth proving feedback so others have a better experience somewhere other than here. This is by far the worst lab corp in the NOVA area. I’ve been to this location several times (and several others) with STAT blood work needed and each time my customer service experience declines. During my first experience, the manager was yelling at her employees behind the counter to sit down and check people in. The other several times, I made appointments, but had to wait at least 20min. The most recent appointment I made, they were over an hour late (60 min) in taking me for STAT blood work that the manager knew I was being seen prior waiting…not only were two young gentlemen seen prior me on a walk in basis, I was treated rudely, and no one monitored the front desk for at least 15min.Other lab corp facilities in Fairfax have superior customer service in comparison, with Duke St Alexandria better than this one, but not by much. I will never go to the Springfield location again; I don’t mind driving an additional 20min to be seen on time and by competent people.I plan to write to write to LabCorp customer service about this facility. I grabbed the supervisor’s business card that was tucked away and facing the other direction behind the glass window: Yualanda Collins.
