The staff who are serving by being on the phone talking do not provide good service to customers and do not fully change what one spends.

La Latina may be small, but she is powerful! I found a variety of tablet chocolates from Mexico, Colombia and El Salvador, to melt into delicious hot chocolate. Can't wait for a really cold, preferably snowy, night!

I am writing to express my disappointment with an experience I had at your store on December 7, 2023. While shopping for meat, I encountered a situation that I found unsanitary and unprofessional.Upon reaching the meat counter, I saw three members of the meat department. One of these individuals was cutting his nails close to the meats. This behavior was deeply concerning to me, as nail clippings are considered a potential health hazard and should not be handled in a public space, especially near food items.I was very disappointed by this incident, as it significantly impacted my overall shopping experience.

Very expensive, plantains are weighed rather than per plantain. Molded tortillas in the fridge. Pros very clean and large variety

La Latina is a small little latin market, located in the Commerce Plaza. They offer you basic groceries, produce, meats, and a frozen section, as well as a MoneyGram service on site.I came here looking for some large-sized tortillas, but, unfortunately, they only carried one brand. Upon checking out, the the barcode was not ringing up the price, in which she went back to the tortilla section, trying to look for the price. No price was listed, so she asked other staff members, but they didn't know, either.Going back to the front, she made up an amount and stated it was $5.90 - um, ma'am, I don't think so. I am not paying $6 for packaged tortillas, which were not even housemade!Definitely didn't like the shadiness, so I decided to go to another mart, which ended up costing me $4, for the same exact product!Note that they are 2 lines up at the front - one for the cashier for groceries, and one for money orders.Tight parking in the plaza lot.+makes up exorbitant prices+located in the Commerce Plaza+tight parking available in the shared lot

Nice little Latin market located in Springfield across the street from pollo campero and mikes american grill. The store doesn't have a lot of produce, if you need your aguacate or tomatoes or other produce, you'll need to go somewhere else. They quality of meat here is really good, we always come here for chorizos or carne asada style meat. They have tons of cookies, candy, spices, cheese, and cream from all different types of countries from El Salvador to Honduras to Argentina. Come try it out!

Closes at 9 online and on the sign on the door but the man locks the doors and does not let anyone enter as they are clearly walking to the door.

Simply adore these lil gems that are locally owned. Was looking for meats to grill on Memorial day with Costco being closed and all. Looked up this place and saw the reviews. Went and got some rib eye steaks and fresh chorizo sausages at a very good price. And even cut the steaks to my preference with a big smile. We also ended up getting some local pastries.

Everything I bought here was expired. Four bags of chips, a pack of flour tortillas, and two drinks. The chips all expired within a few months ago. The tortillas where the freshest out of any of the items I bought but even that expired a month ago. It looks like they bought the tortillas at Walmart and marked up the price. I buy the same brand there for cheaper. I didn't return anything because I was already a few minutes down the road eating my stale chips which is when I noticed a soda expired a half a year ago. I ended up throwing everything out. Stay away this place is disgusting.

This little place has great quality meats and fresh veggies. They also have many spices and products from Latin America. The prices are very reasonable and their personnel is very friendly.
