Is there any sort of consensus that the self checkout system at this store is the worst? You can’t move a bag or relocate an item within it causing an error. Try to scan a fruit? Needs assistance for that. Takes about 15 minutes to check out because the system breaks so often and the attendants are busy. Can we just go back to having check out stands manned by humans! Or make self checkout less sensitive.

The pharmacy staff goes above and beyond for their clients and are excellent professionals and empathetic people. We went to seek a medication that my grandmother desperately needed, but that the retirement home couldn’t fill until Monday (and it was Sunday). We had an electronic prescription but the pharmacy needed either a wet signature or to speak to the prescribing doctor. Pharmacist Michelle Shin and her staff called the doctor numerous times, trying to negotiate with rude medical staff to obtain the prescription. (The medical staff was so rude they even hung up on the Pharmacist at one point!) The pharmacy team was persistent, helpful, worked with us to find a solution and were eventually able to fill the prescription. I am so grateful to Michelle Shin and her amazing team!

One of the local supermarkets that actually have more than the basics. Not as pricey as Whole Foods, buts its nice, employees extremely friendly and quick.

This location appears to be cheaper than the big new one at Springfield Plaza. Unless I'm over there this one is my goto. It's smaller, but has all i need

I’ve been in here 3 times now and typically avoid this Giant at all costs. Every time I walk in I immediately start freezing as the store is super cold. This 3rd and final time I couldn’t even complete my shopping as I was shivering uncontrollably.

I wish I could rate lower than 1 star. Management here has completely given up.On multiple occasions checkout has been frozen for one reason or another. Today I had to walk out after nearly 20 minutes of waiting due to a manager error.Food quality is sub par, I’ve found expired products on the shelves more than once.Staff walks around the store complaining out loud including managers!Giant - this store is a case study in what should not happen in a “newly renovated” store trying to stand out in a crowded grocery market.I would go to one of the many other grocery stores in the area (we are lucky to have other options).

Expensive, but close by the neighborhood. Dangerous parking lot, bad sidewalk outside. Good to pick up last minute needs, but best to do the real grocery shopping elsewhere

On the morning of 2/16/2024, I made a stop at the Giant store where I have been a loyal customer for the past 25 years. While browsing, my attention was caught by a Mango Margarita priced at $17.99. However, I knew that with my Giant card, the price should be lower. Specifically, it should be listed at $12.99. Intrigued, I decided to grab one, along with my two half-gallon milk products. To my surprise, when I reached the checkout counter, the Margarita rang up as $17.99, before the $3.00 discount from my card was applied to my total purchase. Curious and seeking clarification, I politely inquired about the price difference with the cashier. Unfortunately, her response indicated that she believed I had made an error. Undeterred, I retrieved the picture I had taken and presented it to her, demonstrating the $12.99 price tag with the card.Regrettably, she acknowledged that there might have been a mistake, but rather than rectifying the situation professionally, she offered to provide only the $3.00 discount that had already been applied as a card bonus, along with an additional $3.00. I respectfully pointed out that this resolution was still incorrect. According to my understanding, the Margarita should have been priced at $12.99, and with the $3.00 card bonus, the final price should have been $9.99, in addition to the cost of my other purchases.Despite my efforts to reach a satisfactory resolution, the cashier remained firm in her stance, displaying an unprofessional attitude. In order to avoid any further delay in the only open lane, I reluctantly paid the amount requested and left the store.
