I have bought several pairs of glasses and sunglasses from lots of places like warby parker, lensecraft and many more for both myself and my family. i don't know about Dr. because I have my own prescription from different place, but The staff is extremely good, especially the manager 'Priya', she's so welcoming, Brilliant, knowledgeable & helpful.i wish I can see her smile too {under the mask } . They are always happy to make adjustments due to wear and tear. Their selection is by far the most stylish and I have received numerous compliments on my glasses! I recommend this place highly!!Excellent 1st-class customer service experience.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. Briya helped us select our glasses- everyday glasses with transition for me and progressives for my husband. They had a very large selection of frames to choose from. Pricing was fair, and we received our glasses much faster than we expected. I would definitely recommend Eye Town!

EYE TOWN VISION - SPRINGFIELD, VADO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!SHAME ON YOU, MANAGER!THE MANAGER PRYIA IS NOT CLEAR WHEN SHE SELL CHEAP SUNGLASSES TO YOU - CHARGING YOU 3 TIMES MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE REAL VALUE.ONCE YOU BUT IT. -- NON PRESCRIPTION SUNGLASSES- THEY WANT KEEP 25% OF THE ENTIRE AMOUNT TO THEM -- I tried to return them in the next day- they said only the manager could work on it and she would be there on Monday- on Monday , the manager said the office would keep to them 25 % of the amount , she was extremely rude , - even though the sunglasses were REGULAR SUNGLASSES- NOT PRESCRIBED.SHE DID NOT RETURN ANYTHING , TOOK THE SUNGLASSES AND PROMISED TO RETURN "PART OF THE MONEY" saying we would receive the receipt in 30 minutes- SHE LEFT THE OFFICE AND WE NEVER RECEIVED THE RECEIPT.When I called again she said she would return " pet" of the money tomorrow (???? ) and then turned off the phone. I called again and the other employee said the manager was gone.AFTER MANY HOURS I WAS ABLE TO FINALLY TALK TO THE DOCTOR AND GET A DEAL. I'm not satisfied with the deal but it's better than loose my money and sunglasses. The issue is with the manager PRYIA who told different stories and never fixed the problem. So , be careful when you receive an sunglasses or glasses offer.The manager PRYIA SOLD 3 sunglasses pairs saying that if you buy 2 you get one free. It was not true.In the entire office you can see that if you buy 1 pair you get the second one free . In the end, she charged all the 3 of them for 3 times of the price. I searched all of them and these are CHEAP SUNGLASSES - she sold each of them 3 times more expensive.The si glasses are extremely OVERPRICED - and in the end I've been charged for the 3 of them- there was absolutely nothing free like she said.BE CAREFUL!Don't go to the his office EYE TOWN VISION ON SPRINGFIELD, VA.

This Dr has good chair side manner and experience However hisStaff lacks experience and professionalism He needs good professional management of the office . It's such a shame !It's like a hole in a bucket of water The result is loss of good patients and money !

I am giving this place one star solely because the eye doctor was great. Otherwise, I would give it zero stars if that was possible. He was thorough with the exam and was very kind and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, his staff is lacking. After getting my exam done, I was told that the frames I picked and the lens for them would come out to $600. I am not in the position to spend that kind of money on a single pair of glasses and when I informed the tech that was helping me she spent the next twenty minutes trying to convince me, even haggling the price down to $400. I am assuming the staff gets commission and I don't blame the hustle at all but the lady helping me started making up lies to scare me into purchasing the glasses. First, she claimed that my insurance allowance for the glasses expired that evening. Secondly, she claimed that my insurance allowance was only for this store only and that I would not be able to use it anywhere else. I was shocked hearing these blatant lies being told to me as if I am stupid enough to believe it. I did purchase the frames only because I liked them but I wish I didn't because this business absolutely disgusts me at the tactics they have to lure people into buying glasses. The tech was also willing to forego the recommended higher index I need prescribed by the eye doctor too just to get the price to $400 to convince me to buy them. I have still yet to receive my invoice for the purchase so I'm sure there was something sketchy about the purchase as well.After I bought the frames, I requested a copy of my prescription. For some odd reason they do not offer a physical copy and will only email it to you. I had expected that they had sent it right away but I didn't notice that they had not sent it until after I left. When I called, I was met with an attitude telling me that they were busy and that they have some "system" where they send out all the prescriptions at the end of the day. I did not receive my prescription at the end of the day. I called a few days later and was told that they will send me it within 30 minutes. I did not receive it within 30 minutes. I called the next day again and was told the same thing that I would receive it within 30 minutes. Surprise! I didn't receive it AGAIN. I called back one last time and they had finally sent me the prescription. It took FOUR attempts of continuously hounding them for them to send it. During that phone call, I was also asked if I wanted to purchase lenses from them and that they were willing to drop the price from $600 to $250! Yeah, because I'm going to trust a business that can't even send a damn email to be able to make my glasses right. Apparently the cost of the glasses can also just be any price possible depending on whichever tech you are speaking to. I am genuinely confused if this is an actual optometry or if it's a flea market. I truly hope the doctor trains his staff better as they are tainting his business. I will make it a point to NOT recommend this place if I hear any friends or family looking to get a prescription. This review is also for the Springfield, VA store just to clarify as I notice the owner of the store replying to bad reviews claiming it's accidentally written for another store.

Do not come, wasting time! Me and my wife went there 3 times and called once for prescription results, they keep telling you they will give you but never email to you. Another ridiculous thing is they don't do PD test unless you buy eyeglass over there. I've been booked so many test center for routine test but only Eye Town don't offer you PD even it's only take 5 seconds!For the test results my wife has OD -1.5 and OS -1.75, they recommended us do Polycarbonate,Hi Index,1.74 becasue they can make more money. HI 1.74 cost more than $200 but for my wife, 1.5 is good enough and much mcuh cheaper. Stay away from Eye Town Vision Center!

Sadly, this place overbooked their appointments. We have our appt time but ended up waiting for over an hour to be seen. The doctor was friendly but overpriced glasses. You can go to somewhere else that would give you more attentive service.

I requested details on my prescription 7 times. Five times over email and twice over the phone. Do you think they sent it after stating that they would? No. Do not go here if that's what you are looking for.Also one thing to note, they do not have the means of accepting care credit. I verified over the phone before I came and then when I arrived I had to use a different payment method.

Mask is required. Big plastic paper put over the counter of the staff but no other covid guidance followed. No cleaning measures or sanitizing stations. So understaffed that one person couldn't help 3-4 customers that are waiting. Okay choice is kids frames but not much shapes. Just lot of color choices! We wouldn't recommend this place as you'll be wasting lot of time just waiting for someone to help you and open drawers to try on some frames.
