Please don’t waste your time and money going to this shop for car inspection, the new guy doesn’t know how to inspect the car he doesn’t know different between inspection and emissions if the car engine light is on he will reject your inspection because this new guy I don’t know how he got license to be state inspectors even he doesn’t have the uniform and very disrespected person with low quality of customer service , I was the customer from last 20years with previous management :(
Going for inspection to this shop you must have $1000. Because the fake inspector with out wearing uniform , he Will reject your car inspection for engine light, brake even in good shape, tire and many more because the owner is inspector trying to get reach over night, look like he is new here, he thinks people are stopped,…..

Went thru a lot of mechanics in my hometown before finding a good one. Pleasantly surprised to find this one so quick after moving here. Same feel as my hometown favorite. Easy to talk to and not afraid to explain more if I don't understand. Friendly to walkins depending on circumstances. Competitive pricing. Easily first choice if I need something.

10/10 would recommend Capital Auto Repair. Had my car towed here after it unexpectedly died on 95 heading out of town. They were able to get me in, test my car, and order parts immediately. The Bosch Alternator that was ordered ended up being faultily so they send back the part and replaced expeditiously. Was happy with their service so I also asked them to take a look at my doors. Previously, 4 shops had looked at them and couldn't find a reason why they weren't unlocking and locking. Capital Auto Repair found the issue, ordered original manufacture parts, and fixed the problem in less than 12 hours. In the end, I ended up using their service for an AC recharge, battery, alternator, 2 door locking mechanisms, an emissions test, and inspection. Will be using them again in the future.

I had a very frustrating experience at this auto mechanic shop. Despite the owner asking me to come in at 8 a.m., he arrived 25 minutes late. Once he finally showed up, he made me wait for more than 10 minutes without any explanation. When I asked if he was ready to look at my car, he informed me that he wasn't a technician and was waiting for someone else. After waiting outside his office for nearly an hour, he couldn't provide any information about when the technician would arrive. This lack of professionalism and disrespect for my time was extremely disappointing, especially considering I was already late for work. In the end, I decided to find another auto technician who could assist me promptly.

We’ve been taking our cars to Capitol Auto Care for years and we’ve been very happy! Wais is honest, he only does what is necessary, he does not try to find anything wrong with your car, he does not charge exorbitant fees, he does the job and does it well! We are sad and very disappointed that the shop is now under new management, now there is an hourly rate of $105 and a diagnostic fee of $15, so expect to pay big money when you take your car. I was going to take my car for oil change and other things, someone met me and said to go in the office and his boss is going to talk to me. I waited for 10 minutes, when finally someone “boss” walked in the office, he just ignored me and kept talking to another guy in their language for about 10-15 minutes. I wouldn’t have minded that but at least he could have said he’s finishing with another customer and will be with me, but nothing - totally rude!!! We will be looking for a new mechanic for sure!
