I was looking for a particular dress that I saw online, which they did not have, but they carried the designer, so they ordered one for me to try on. I liked it, but they showed a different dress by the same designer that I liked even better. I am a plus size, and it was in stock, so they worked with me even late at night to get the dress ordered before the price changed. The only problem I had was that there was a mixup with the shipping of the dress, but that was the designer's fault, not Rosalin's. There was still plenty of time for the alterations. The alterations person was very nice and did exactly what I wanted with the dress. Would highly recommend.”

“I came to Ellie's in February with my Mom and two friends to go wedding dress shopping, and had such a great time. This was the third and final stop on our wedding dress tour, so by the time we arrived I really knew what I was looking for. The stylist took into consideration pictures and comments about unsuccessful dresses I had tried on elsewhere, and pulled three or four dresses that were exactly what I was looking for but hadn't yet found. I was so excited to finally go pick up my dress, and truly wish I could wear it every day. They were also communicative throughout the ordering process, which was helpful because I had to travel farther to pick it up.

“Finding my wedding dress was a journey, I went to dress stores all over the country and really struggled to find the one, in fact I started to question if there really was a ‘one’ or if that was just a myth and I should settle on something ‘nice’ because we were down to 6 months before the wedding. I wanted something a unique but still bridal and it felt impossible to find, until I came here. When I came for my appointment, I literally spotted my dress in the window, and when I tried it on I knew it was ‘the one.’ But what’s even more important than the great inventory is the people.

As much as I loved the dress, there was quite a lot of work I wanted done to make it best fit my style and body. I did not live in DC when I bought my dress here, and had to make the tough decision of finding a tailor at home or traveling across the country back to DC for alterations, but I fell so in love with Farah at my appointment that she was the only person I trusted with my dress.

Farah is a dream. We did a lot of work to my dress on a short timeline, there is a leap of faith to changing something that expensive but Farah understood my vision and executed it to PERFECTION. She is thoughtful, kind, patient and went above and beyond at every step. She answered every wild question I had from traveling to Italy with the dress, to figuring out the right bra situation and she solved every one of them with grace.

Farah is the fairy godmother of wedding dresses and if you have a chance to work with her you are so so lucky.”

“These ladies are in a class of their own in terms of customer service. I worked with Annie and Kellita across 2 visits. The whole team worked together and coordinated for weeks to help me pull off a secret grand reveal for my mom and future mother in law and they did this with no expectation of an additional sale (although I did end up buying some accessories). The store is welcoming, elegant and fairly priced. They have a wide selection of amazing dresses, the staff is knowledgeable and incredibly patient with both you as the bride and your guests. I will be going back for a 3rd visit to shop for MoB & MoG outfits! I will forever recommend Brooke's Bridal to everyone I know.”

“I’m so happy that I found my dress at Sage bridal! They were recommended by a friend (as well as Reddit). After visiting another bridal dress boutique, I ended up finding my dress at Sage Bridal. I went in wanting one style, but with the help of the Sage team Christen (sp?), I came out with a Lillian West dress which I never dreamed of wearing because I thought it would be out of my budget. The cost of the dress, small alterations and bustle together ended up being within reason and within my budget! The try-on dress fit like a glove, but was a little long so she recommended to order a petite size and wearing platform heels to avoid the extra cost of hemming. It worked like a charm and I got so many compliments on the dress!
Sage Bridal is a gem. They were responsive, kind, honest and efficient. Scheduling appointments was easy (granted I tried to schedule appointments well in advance and to have it at least 2 weeks before the wedding which they graciously accommodated). “Exceptional Service from Jennifer - Feedback on Return Policy

I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at Anthropologie, particularly highlighting the outstanding service I received from Jennifer, located in Georgetown.

After a disappointing experience at the Bethesda and Fairfax locations, where staff refused to assist me with returning a lilac taper candle set of 2 without a receipt, I was feeling quite frustrated. Despite explaining that I had purchased the item from the Georgetown location just a week prior and requesting that they call for my receipt number, I was met with resistance and no resolution.

However, when I returned to the Georgetown store, Jennifer went above and beyond to help me. She not only located my receipt but also confirmed that the other locations had the capability to retrieve receipt numbers from their store. While she mentioned it would take some extra time, it was reassuring to know that a solution was possible.

Jennifer's exceptional customer service made a significant difference in my experience. She was friendly, patient, and truly exemplified what excellent customer care should be. I genuinely appreciate her efforts and will remember the positive interactions I had with her - I think it would add value to Anthropologie if all staff was trained by Jennifer.

In addition to recognizing Jennifer's exemplary service, I would like to suggest that Anthropologie consider updating its return policy. A 30 day return window for customers without receipts would be more accommodating, especially when it's clear that the product has not been used. Additionally, implementing a system for customers to select receipt emails or texts upon purchase, particularly for transactions involving gift cards, would be a helpful improvement. This would prevent situations like mine, where my gift card was discarded after use.
