They quoted 3 guys to handle our move - 2 showed up - paid $1,500 cash (have receipt). They caused damage. They said their boss would contact us to work out the damage. He did not call. He did not answer the phone or respond. Had to go to court to get a judgement.

Extremely unreliable. Called and told me 5min before my move they were getting food - I lived in mount Vernon triangle DC there is 50 restaurants by me. I hear back 1 hour later they're waiting on their food. 2 hours later the boss calls me and says they can't make it. At 10pm at night I had to find another moving service. Terrible communication I called so many times and they never picked up

Thank you Action Moving. The movers were on time, polite, and moved everything quickly. When I made an appointment they were very helpful and explained all of their procedures in depth. Fair price as well. I definitely recommend them!

Wish I could give this sorry excuse for a company zero stars. The embodiment of unprofessional and unqualified. I scheduled my move last week with the company for the upcoming Friday which they immediately provided confirmation of the reservation. I planned my entire day for this move as my lease expires over the holiday weekend so I took off early from work and had everything packed up and ready to go. I also went through the hassle of scheduling the freight elevator and loading dock at my apartment community (which is very busy at this time with move ins/outs). Day of the move I send the company a message via Thumbtack in the morning to confirm we are all set for the move but I don’t receive a response so I call them a couple times to see if I can get in contact with someone at the company but no dice. As the day goes by I continue to dial them to figure out what’s going on with the hope that they are just running behind. I try to leave a voicemail but it’s unavailable at the moment so as 2 pm passes and we get into 3 pm I’ve lost all hope. The complete lack of respect and communication has been unparalleled. No one returned my call or answered any of my messages. I was left to scramble and figure out alternative plans for moving my things as well as securing a different move out date and time that fit within the availability at my apartment community as well as rescheduling my deep cleaning because the unit would not be vacant until a later date. If you are looking for reliable movers or a company that will at least show up or have the decency to respond to customers don’t work with Action Moving! I hope more people trust the bad reviews because I sure wish I had. This company is the worst.

I cannot say enough positive things about Action Moving and how they helped make our move so easy, affordable and an overall wonderful experience. I could not recommend anyone more for your move, these guys are professional but they are helpful and sweet too and genuinely were there to make our move as easy as possible.

we are very disappointed with Action Moving.we hired them to ship a vehicle for us.on the pickup date ,after receiving no calls from the company we called them to check the status and they just told us they will not pickup the car and cancelled the job for no good reason and without notice.

They showed up on time, handled my belongings with care and were fast and efficient. A difficult time made easy by a professional, easy going moving company! I will definitely call them anytime I have to move again. I know now that I can be a lot more relaxed and happy about moving if I have them working with me!

Action Moving helped me move this weekend and they did such a good job. The amount of detail and effort and they've put into the move have been amazing. Other moving companies that I've used never seem to care about your stuff but they treat your things as though they were their, so I highly recommend using this moving company.

Action Moving was contracted to move an upright piano that takes 4 people to move. They brought 2 and destroyed a recently refinished wood floor. We got the name of their supervisor after we found the damage. Islam said to get a quote for the repair and has gone silent. They clearly have no insurance and do not stand behind their work. UPDATE: These criminals promised me a full refund for this service over SIX months ago and have refused to answer my calls and process the return. I am now moving forward with legal action.Most unprofessional moving company I have ever come across. Showed up 3 hours late, refused to get in contact with me, a mover kept using my restroom and personal products without permission, stood in the truck for 10+ minutes doing nothing to hide from the rain, made multiple entire trips to my unit carrying 1 8x10 photo, best of all... one of them even joked about taking my things to Dulles Airport and leaving.Service: In-state moving

I used Action Moving to move out of my condo this past weekend and I was very happy with how the entire process went. They had the most competitive quote of all the moving services that I found, and scheduling my move was very easy, even on short notice. A team of two showed up and were able to start my move 30 minutes ahead of schedule. The guys were both careful and efficient in moving my furniture out. I explained what I wanted in the beginning, and after that they didn't interrupt me with much follow up. They were also respectful and pleasant to work with. I would recommend Action Moving to anyone in need of movers- you really can't beat the value and peace of mind that they provided for me this past weekend!
