Joe was the best mechanic I ever had and always took care of me when I lived in Fredericksburg. He is honest, fair and knowledgeable about his craft.

Lexy, Joe, and the team at Olsen's Auto Repair saved the day!A day or so prior to a return trip home in KY from Washington, DC, I accidentally drove up onto the curb in the DC Metro parking garage. Despite the grinding noise of the curb against the car's undercarriage, it seemed that the car was okay. Even an occasional slight rattle didn't seem to suggest that there was anything that required immediate attention.Wrong! An hour into the drive home to KY, a low oil pressure warning light came on. I pulled to side of the highway and Googled to find someone who could help. Olsen's was the closest place -- about 5 minutes from where I was.I made it to Olsen's hoping that they could help. I was concerned that I might have punched a hole in the oil pan and thought that I might be looking at a major cost of both cash and time. All bays were full, but Lexy immediately went to work. She checked their schedule, placed calls to other garages to see if they had space in their schedules. Knowing that I was trying to get home to KY, Olsen's cleared a bay, pulled my car in and checked the damage. In a short while Lexy reported that I was lucky. The issue was that my incident with the curb had torn a hole into the oil filter. All the oil had run out. The solution was to replace the filter and refill the oil. Effectively the fix amounted to an oil change --both in time and expense needed to fix the problem. I breathed a sigh of relief. Joe's team set to work and he took the car for a test drive to confirm that everything was good.In less than an hour from the trouble light coming on I was back on the road home. I am grateful for all that Lexy, Joe, and the team at Olsen's Auto Repair did to help. The saved the day and I was able to get home with no further problems.Thank you to everyone at Olsen's! You are awesome!Services: General repairs & maintenance

Thank you to Olsen's for saving me when I had a coil pack issue on the highway. I tried to troubleshoot myself, but with their help and guidance I was able to get the part same-day. Lexi (hope I spelled that right!) is a gem, thank you for your kindness! Joe is a hardworking and honest mechanic, also very kind. All-around awesome review for Olsen's. BONUS: there's cats on-site :)

My heart daughter broke down at a busy intersection. While closer garages wouldn't even consider looking at her vehicle, the folks at Olsen's gave us a reputable tow truck company and brought her vehicle there as an emergency repair. She was right in the middle of moving and had her son in the vehicle as well. The seemingly new alternator failed and stranded her. They treated her with care, kindness and were so professional. I can't say enough positive about this shop. Thank you for everything!Service: Engine repair

The owner is old school master tech and he employs good mechanics and they work as a team getting her done. Integrity willingness and a helpful attitude brought me here. On my way to a job site I had a minor issue and they worked me into schedule asking as I knew if it was more involved that I would need to wait. Well it's done and so glad to put a good honest business into the roladex

Absolutely waste of time and money, made me pay $948 for a 2015 Chevy Cruze that I took in for a window repair and my check engine light being on. I left with my light still being on, oil everywhere under the hood, and out of basically 1k. Went back several times to get it fixed , he tried to charge me AGAIN for some part , I had to get 2 toes in one week because my car kept over heating after he “fixed” the problem and I’m STILL riding around with the check engine light on. Don’t go there especially if you’re a woman , they’ll take the biggest advantage of you and ruin your car even more !!!Services: General repairs & maintenance

Fair pricing and the only mechanic I trust with my cars! Mr. Olsen stands by his work and doesn't try to upsell you at checkout =) Highly recommend!
