I have been with Giant Pharmacy in Hilltop Shopping Center in Spotsylvania for 14 years and everyone always been very pleasant never had an issue until last week I received a call from the lady at the pharmacy earlier I took my new blue cross and blue shield insurance card to the pharmacist later I received a phone call telling me that I never changed my address her tone was like she is accusing me that I have not change my address so I went back to the store and showed her where the insurance company send the card too my correct address I told her she can not accuse me that I have not changed my address well she got upset and took my medication and threw them in the bag very bad customer service today I picked up medication she did not wait on me and the other lady that gave me my medication today very in polite any other time they tell me how much I have to pay today she said your amount is on the screenI have never experienced that kind of treatment before that is uncalled for

The pharmacy is wonderful. Everyone is kind and helpful.I’ve told everyone I know to change their pharmacy from CVS to Giant so figured I should make a public announcement too.

If I could give this pharmacy minus 5 stars, I would. I am not sure how Virginia still has a job if you look at any of these reviews. She is so incredibly rude. she laughs at you, hangs up on you when you ask her to stop talking to you in a rude manner, yells, huffs, rolls her eyes, etc. She is TERRIBLE. Please, whoever is in charge, fire this lady. I cannot believe she still has not changed in the several years I have been going here.

On Sunday 11/06 at 4:00 pm placed and order for pick up the same day at the first available pick up slot 8:00 pm. My husband and I am are both home sick with COVID so did not want to go into the store. At 5 pm I received and email giving me the option to change my order to the next day. I called the customer service number to inquire about the status of my order. The young woman that answered the call said that my other was scheduled for the next day. I explained to her that the order was placed for today at the offered slot of 8:00 pm. In addition, I explained to her that I was sick and need basic foods today. She said sorry but your order is for tomorrow. I asked why was my order time changed without my consent. She said "I don't know a computer error maybe". I asked for the name of the store manager, she suggested the manager would call me. I asked why can she not give me the name. She put me on hold supposedly to get the manager's name but after 11 minutes on hold I figured she just left me there on hold not to provide the manager's name. I called back but no one answer the phone. I checked my order and had been canceled. Poor customer service! Why advertise a service and not honor the commitment, furthermore, why the a lack of empathy for the customer that keep your doors open? There is no excuse.

Absolutely ludicrous staffing. The older woman that works there makes me incredibly angry with how rude she is to customers. The younger lady that works there is the only competent one. I wish I could give this a lower review. Absolutely ludicrous service, stay away if you can.

Excellent Pharmacy. The staff is always professional and friendly! They are very considerate of your time and always fill my prescription in a timely manner. They are very efficient, knowledgeable, empathetic and have an excellent work ethic. The staff is always on top of things. I'm self pay and they always use the correct discount card that saves me the most money. (With other pharmacies I've had problems time after time but never once with Giant.) Giant pharmacy always seems to care about saving their customers money. All my prescriptions are all cheapest at Giant in combination with my savings card.! They always greet their customers and remember their regular customers. It makes me feel good that they remember me everytime I come in. I only go to the courthouse rd location Fredericksburg VA. It's not just convenient but the customer service is the best out of any pharmacy I've ever been too so I've never had a need to any other Giant location. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

All I can say is rude,rude,rude! The older woman is on another level with rudeness. Totally unacceptable. Also, they never have seem to have all of my medicines together for pick- up. One of the workers told me it was no sweat off me because I wasn't paying for it. I wonder if that was because of the kind of insurance I have?

I have waited about three weeks before writing this review. I gave them a chance to stock their shelves. I am very frustrated with the management. After just reading a recent article on how much store managers getspaid, this is unacceptable. Shelves are constantly bare. go to this store because I can pick up what I need in one store. I'm just sorely disappointed in the management.

I have been a loyal customer for the past eight years, and I have always loved the people and service at this Giant. Recently, the seafood department has been a let down. The product is not the issue. It is the person running it. I did not get to catch the name of the employee who is on shift. I usually come in around 4 PM on Fridays, and I will make my way to the seafood department every Friday around 4:30 PM. The gentlemen is not friendly, not well-mannered, and rude. I always greet him with a hello and how are you, but he stares at me like I need to hurry with my order. If it was a one time occurrence then I'd excuse it, and take it that he had a bad day, but this is a weekly occurrence. I hope that management will provide this employee with some form of customer service training because it is deterring customers from coming back to this Giant.

Bad customer service. The old lady with gray hair is very rude and mean. All I ask was for a simple money order with I've done st that location plenty of times with the same card. Now all of a sudden I can't do it because of the ads I have. And the lady was really nasty about too.

I don't know what you all are doing wrong. I'll take this store any day compared to Woodbridge. I think they have been out of something once or twice in the last couple of months. One of which was extra sweet tea, but it's hit or miss with the other stores too. To get three cases of peach water in Woodbridge, I finally found a manager who would special order for me. When I picked up, there was nothing left on the shelves because they didn't order any extra. The aisles were crowded with stocking carts. Don't know if they had grocery pickup - best thing since sliced bread. The people that run it down here are the best. But I get tired of the media hyping competition between Wal-Mart and Amazon. It's no contest if people have these complaints- which should be a simple fix
