On June 25, 2024, I was shopping at the Fast Mart, located at 9815 Courthouse Rd, Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA. I picked up an item off the shelf, which was priced at $7.49, but at the register I was charged $9.49, which is against the law (see Virginia Code § 18.2-217). I informed the cashier, who's name is Kansas, about the price discrepancy, and she said something like, the vendor marked those prices, but we have to charge what the register says. Another female employee present agreed with her. I told them that I wasn't going to purchase either of the two items that I brought to the counter. I started to leave, and told them I didn't appreciate all the attitude they gave me when I brought the price discrepancy to their attention.
The other employee, who appeared to be a manager or supervisor, then accused me of having an attitude and pointing at Kansas while I was talking. When actually I was pointing at the item and back at shelf, explaining the situation. I asked her for her name, and she covered her name badge, and refused to give her name. The reason she gave was, I had an attitude for being charged higher than the marked price. She then asked me to leave the store.
This is not first time I've gotten absolutely poor service at this location, and I don't advise anyone shopping there.

Employees are extra nice and ladies room was exceptionally clean even if it's not new and not remodeled.

Went inside to get a receipt for gas purchase. The woman working the register was unmasked and coughing. No more business from me, even for just gas.
