16 Liberty St, Martinsville“They were very helpful. Just in case people don't know, they give out food AND toiletries. Like soap, dish liquid, toilet paper, tooth paste & tooth brushes, deodorant. I can't remember if they still give out soap & shampoo, I think they use to. These items may not be name brand stuff but when you trying to survive it helps in a big way. The food they give out is better than every food bank in this area. You can actually eat it. That alone says a lot about how awful the other local food banks are.”
“Helped out at the warming center last night. open for a good cause to help people to stay warm from freezing conditions in the city of Martinsville and Henry County. My offer many other services to help the community”

284 Commonwealth Blvd W, Martinsville“This is a pretty good store. It is the only one in the area now, so this is all you have for "discount" clothing. It has saved me in some dressing emergencies before. They run some fairly good deals throughout the week such as today, being 50% on orange tags. The problem is, most of the stuff you would want isn't on sale and the stuff that is on sale looks trashy or has holes. Otherwise, this is a clean store, well laid out and some friendly staff.
