For some reason our GPS directed us to take this route to reach our destination of APP state. It was a foggy, rainy, dark night. We passed this dollar general and decided to turn around and pick up some snacks. The cashier at the front was a literal blessing and divine intervention from God. She warned us about dead man’s curve and having to trek through the mountain. We turned around and stayed the night in Wytheville. Thank you so much, you may have saved our lives!

I absoutly love to come to this DG, 1st you never feel like a stranger the ladies ALWAYS speak /talk like known you for years n no matter how busy they are they don't make u feel rushed n ALWAYS remember certaian lil things about bagging my things that help me so much they NEVER act like ur a bother no matter how busy they are and each of them are so sweet so I thank each of u !! So glad I can and enjoy here instead going to wytheville..YOU ALL ARE AWESome and THANK YOU ALL!!

Both front doors locked at 10 minutes before closing on Saturday Sept 18th 2021. Lights were on. Employee cars in lot. No note or anything on door except posted hours.Community loves this store and are glad to have it but being in very rural area we depend on being open till posted closing time!
