Wow, I am actually kind of stunned at the horrible reviews here. I don't even bank at Wells Fargo. But I have Power of Attorney for a friend who does and I've been working with this branch to handle the financial needs of my friend who is hospitalized. Both Natalie and Mo have been extremely helpful and kind. Natalie made about a zillion copies of account records for me, and Mo helped me set up my POA access to the account. Granted, the latter took a couple hours due to the inexperience of someone in the department he was required to work with by phone. But that was not his fault. I bank at Credit Unions as my husband is retired Air Force. But I have no complaints with the employees I have dealt with at this branch.

I feel like these 1 star reviews are unnecessarily kind and generous to the service you receive and competence received at this particular branch. I have been stunned by malfeasance of these local actors and their charade as bankers and professionals. My recent series of interactions over the last months has led me from being a WELLS FARGO CUSTOMER SINCE 1990 to A CLIENT AT ANOTHER OTHER INSTITUTION, because of this branch alone.
If there is an upper management reading this, I plead to you to terminate the employment of all members and employees of this branch in an Armageddon and start anew as God commandedof Noah. This branch cannot be salvaged.

Avoid this branch. None of the employees there know what they are doing. I brought a pay off check for my auto loan and no one there knew what to do with it. I waited over 40 minutes for them to call the main office just for them to tell me that they coudn't accept the pay off check that was coming from another institution. Their excuse was that the check had both wells fargo and my name on it, so they could not accept it. Even their manager didn't know what to do!I took my check back, drove to the branch down the street and within minutes my loan was paid off. No push back not questions asked.Eastern Market place branch is the worst!

This location is by far the worst I’ve ever been. Every single visit the staff does not acknowledge you. Then you’re greeted with attitude. Every. Single. Time.

They refused to break change for me because I am not an account holder at their bank. They didn’t tell me why other than you are not a customer sorry. I have been to many other banks who have not had any issue and don’t even ask for an ID, including other Wells Fargo’s! . But this particular branch would not do it.

Two bad instances with a teller. First instance, teller got into a personal chat session with a customer for ten minutes while the line grew and clearly didn’t care and she was the only teller working. I had to leave due to schedule. Returned the next day and the same teller quickly dismissed me. She was very curt and dismissive of me. ATMs at this location have a history of not processing. Bad, bad, bad.

The last thing one wants to deal with at a bank is an arrogant, rude, argumentative teller, but this branch has an award winning woman who prefers to lecture customers rather than do the job is paid to do. With two tellers and three customers in the lobby, how long would you expect to stand in line? 18 minutes for me, and when I told her I did not have an account there (I was cashing a check drawn on a WF account) because of the crappy service, she proceeds to lecture me about what is expected from customers. Expected from customers? How about what is expected from tellers? Well, she went on to say how busy she was and every customer is important....cut the crap, lady. No one believes that. Shut the mouth and do the work. That is what I expect from tellers. I can tell from other reviews that this is not the first complaint about this woman, so why does WF not do something about her? Find her a job inside the vault, so can't continue to insult customers at the counter. She is going to mouth off to the wrong customer one day and regret it. Really regret it. The bank is aware of the problem - fix it.

Shefali should not have a career in customer service. She is incredibly condescending and rude. I asked two questions and in return received unwarranted sarcasm and snark. If it weren't for the fact that I absolutely needed to transfer money to complete a real estate purchase I would have taken my business elsewhere. Never again will I work with such an unprofessional person.

Natalie at this location was extremely kind and helpful. When we needed something done that she couldn't perform, she called other branches until she could find us an appointment. That's true customer service right there. Good job Wells Fargo!! ?
