My daughter loves going to Huntington. She is really happy with her teachers and the way they teach math which is easy to understand for her. I highly recommend it.

I appreciate how the curriculum at Huntington is customized to meet my child's specific educational requirements. It's reassuring to know that any gaps in his learning are addressed with tailored interventions designed to suit his needs. The progress he has made has been truly remarkable. Initially, we were quite concerned because the shift to distance learning had left him with significant learning gaps. For the first time, our high-achieving child was struggling academically. Thanks to Huntington, not only has he improved, but he has also excelled academically. We plan to continue with Huntington for as long as possible, as the results have been nothing short of amazing!

Huntington Learning Center has been an excellent source in helping my son with his math skills not only working with him on skills he is behind on, but with his school work as well in helping him prepare and feel confident with upcoming tests and assignments he does not understand. I highly recommend Huntington to anyone who has a student needing a little extra help or a boost in confidence.

My son improved and gained 100 points more in the SAT Math section with the help of SAT prep classes from Huntington, when he took diagnosis test he was very weak in Maths section and was not good in time management to complete all questions within the window. Huntington tutors helped him by guiding him for time management and exam prep concepts in subjects very thoroughly, which helped him to get the score he targeted to. I would strongly recommend Huntington 1-1 class style, as it gives right balance for the student to learn and improve the skills.

We recently withdrew our student from the South Riding Huntington program and would not recommend as it did not meet our tutoring needs. We were impressed at first with their intensive pre-enrolment evaluation where they used their proprietary tools and methods to assess our student's learning needs. They did a decent job presenting our student's needs and recommending learning plans to achieve our stated goals. I also like that they meet with us to discuss our student's learning progress. However, their program did not meet our specific needs due the following:Beyond what we were told in the periodic meetings, we did not have visibility to our student's learning materials. By design, there are no take home exercises or learning materials to encourage continued learning and practices while not at the center. We never saw the actual learning materials! Since there are no take-home work, it was important for us to see the actual learning materials and even how our student was graded on tests/exercises so that we can procure similar materials for ongoing practicing outside of tutoring sessions. The tutoring sessions did not translate to success in the classroom or report cards. We did not really have designated teacher/tutor. There seemed to be a rotation of teachers/tutors who would attend to our student during various tutoring sessions. This would be ideal for younger students but a concern for our student and our tutoring needs. We also became aware that their recruiting requirement for tutors indicated that "teaching experience is not required." Their fees outpace that of seasoned experienced tutors with teaching experience. In addition, I agree with another review on google (which looks like it has been taken down) about their tendency to be unnecessarily rigid. They once approached us within two hours to the start of our scheduled tutoring session and begged us to accommodate their last-minute schedule challenge and asked to inconveniently change our time. We obliged. At a later time, when we gave them a 12-hour notice of absence, they were unwilling to accommodate and instead rudely pointed to their policies (which is within their rights; they have a very rigid 24-hour rule). I did not appreciate their rudeness and overall impersonal attitudes considering that their services cater to families.I would definitely not recommend this tutoring program to other families!

We are truly impressed with our child's academic progress in the first quarter. Ms. Megan and Mr. Doug coordinate and keep us informed. We should learn at every stage of our lives. We did not have to worry about finding qualified teachers because Huntington took care of that for us.We posted this review after 6 months of working with Huntington.

We are very happy with our daughter’s experience at HLC. Ms. Megan and the staff are very friendly and professional. My daughters progress has been exactly what she needed to help with her confidence. 100% would recommend HLC’s program.

We paid for ACT training and said we could nominally expect a 5-point increase. There were a number of instances where our child showed up for the scheduled class only for the instructor not to show up but there weren't any problems 90% of the time. We also experienced some friction with a mathematics instructor exclaiming "why don't you know this!" during reviews. This sort of deflated the student who was there to figure out what portions of the test were problem areas and have Huntington assist in determining what concepts the student didn't understand. We saw increases in the scores during the practice tests and a very large increase on the final practice test. Interestingly, my student had seen a portion of that final practice test previously, so it really didn't provide an honest assessment of the training results...sort of fishy. When my child took the actual test, we only saw a 3-point increase. My student needed the review structure this program provided, but you may not see the score increase you desire.

Very pleased with my daughter's results. She increased her SAT score as desired. Doug and his team (Elliott, Megan) were always courteous and extremely patient with our constant change in schedule which was very comforting. I don't know who the teachers were but evidently they came through as well for our daughter. I will certainly use them again.
