Dr. Hite is excellent! Very calm in a crisis situation. He gave a concise and informative rundown of my cat's condition and helped keep me calm. My kitty is in recovery and is doing just fine <3

The vet was nice enough to kill one of our kittens today. Went in for a spider bite, left with the kitten on antibiotics and pain medicine. Later died of OD from the pain medicine. Vet first assumed it was 7 weeks instead of the 12 weeks that she was and still gave her pain medication for swelling. Can’t trust your “professionals” anymore.

Dr. Hite and the staff are extra attentive. Excellent service, and they do not try to rip ypi off by saying you need this and that.... Like other vets in the area. Highly recommend.

My 13.5 y/o dog Sam was in need of help. He had been going downhill for a few months. The vet and his tech’s humanely put an end to his suffering. They were compassionate and kind in the treatment of him and I. I’m grateful for the compassion they showed us.

They are wonderful people who helped me with a painful situation with my fur baby. So much compassion and it showed when I looked at the sweet young lady that helped in our Sadie passing.. thank you again for make a hard day a better day..

The older vet and his female (?) assistant have the worst animal bedside manner that I've ever experienced! Although the COVID pandemic has long been over, they still denied my request to accompany my 3-month old puppy to his first vet appointment for vaccinations. They showed zero empathy as they dragged him across the waiting room floor and proceeded to muzzle him and strap him down to the steel table. On my 2nd visit 3 weeks later, I explained to both of them that he was still emotionally traumatized by the last visit, and the vet assistant actually mocked both of us for bringing him back (as if there are plenty of vets to choose from in South Hill)! His license should be suspended so he can take up fishing, and his assistant should go assist the boy's wrestling coach at Mecklenburg County school! Do NOT take your pets here! Drive to Clarksville or South Boston where your family pet will receive compassionate care and treatment!
