“This is my GO TO grocery store. Whenever I come to South Boston, VA. It is adequate for what I come to get. The employees are not overly friendly. Meat Dept was attentive to my needs when I ask them a question. Fresh produce, fresh everything. Prices are reasonable.
No complaints. It's a grocery store. I usually get everything I came for. Easy parking.”

“The food is delicious. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries and it was fantastic. It looks like a bait and tackle box store on the outside, but the inside is full of deliciousness. They are also open for breakfast and I'm looking forward to trying their breakfast items too. And I love that they put your fries in a covered container so they can stay warm longer. If you are looking for some home cooked grilled food, this is the place to go.”
“What can you say? It's Dollar General. Need something in a pinch, live near Turbeville and don't want to drive all the way into town. The likelihood of DG having what you need is high. Friendly staff, very helpful. Right off the highway too, so accessible to travelers in need of supplies.”

“Most of the time when you walk into a store you never get greeted the correct way but as soon as I walked into this dollar general the cashier was very friendly. While waiting in line I noticed how nice she was to every single customer that she rung up, once it was my turn I thanked her for being a breath of fresh air.
