My family and I visited Liberty Mills back in October and I've been meaning to write this review for a while. The reason for my five star rating is in large part due to the very nice and accommodating manager, Evie. I had a small complaint in the past and she not only addressed the problem but made sure that my family had a pleasant visit when we came in the week before Halloween. The farm was pretty full during our visit but it never seemed over crowded. We started our day with a visit to the playground so that our young daughter could run around and let out some energy. After getting a quick bite to eat, we decided to tackle the super big mystery maze. This maze is no joke and you really gotta be committed to get through it. We were able to get through in about an hour and a half, which seems like a pretty decent accomplishment given its size and difficulty. After a rest and more treats from the general store, we took a stroll through the pumpkin patch and flower garden; both are very instagrammable for all you influencers out there. Then we tackled the easy children's maze. As night time came, we decided to do the intermediate maze in the dark. This was quite thrilling as you wind your way through corn stalk alleys and narrow passages with only the glow of your flashlight to guide you. By the time we finished that maze, we were exhausted and headed home. All in all, it was a day well spent. Thanks again to Evie for helping create a fun and pleasant visit for me and my family!

My friend and I had such a fun day at the farm! I didn’t know what to expect from a corn maze, having never done one, but it was SO much fun! You could literally spend hours wandering through the maze, it’s so large! The pumpkin patch was brimming with pumpkins of every shape, size and color… but hands down, the best part of our visit was the tractor ice cream :) The owners are super friendly and love to chat with their visitors! This will be an annual event for us.

My entire family (sons, daughter, spouses and grandchildren) visited the Liberty Mills giant corn maze on the first Sunday in November 2023. The day was gorgeous, and the musical-themed maze was delightful. I would have never guessed that we would each collect all 21 checkpoint stamps - but WE DID IT! This is a much-recommended family-oriented destination. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

We visited on 10/28/2023. Younger family members did the maze. We enjoyed the beautiful weather. Afterwards we had pumpkin & moca ice cream that was delicious. Fantastic experience and memories.

We wound our way through the largest corn maze in the United States and solved trivia challenges along the way. There were four mazes to challenge you. We opted for the medium maze and it took us about an hour or so. It was a lot of fun and will be a great family experience for you. The gift of a smarties candy for tackling the maze was lame though. All in all I highly recommend this activity.

Fun corn mazes. I've visited Liberty Mills Farm in three different years, and each year they have a different corn maze. They offer both mazes where you follow a map and mazes where there is no map and you try to escape using strategy and memory. Every maze that I have tried has been an enjoyable time. They also offer tractor rides and have a playground in addition to various snacks in their barn. I would recommend Liberty Mills Farm if you want to complete a corn maze in central Virginia.

They don't call it the nation's largest corn maze for nothing!! Four separate mazes with varying difficulty. It was a lot of fun for the whole family! The small play area for kids was great too with a roller slide and tractor playground to climb on. Prices were reasonable considering all that you could do.Definitely recommend and we are already planning our return trip!

We drove 2.5 hours here today and felt the experience was worth it. The views are beautiful. The pumpkin selection was great, with very unique pumpkins to choose from! There was good food, drink & snack options. The place is clean and maintained well. Our only negative experience was with one worker who was very vocal about “having to work all damn day” driving the hay ride. He was annoyed and kept complaining to other workers. We stayed for the flashlight maze, which was super fun, but there he was again, working at the entrance, rudely making smart comments to people. The guy was a real jerk, which is shame, this place otherwise is great!

This place is such a gem and so spectacular! The maze is worth every minute and there’s such a variety of flowers and pumpkins to pick. The ice cream is also delicious and the folks were so nice who worked there. I can’t wait to come again next fall for the next maze!

We had an absolute blast in the corn mazes! Joey and Ethan were absolutely amazing and helped us with all of our needs from describing the mazes, taking our family photo, and answering all of our questions. We enjoyed chatting with the owners during our visit and look forward to attending again in the future! I highly recommend trying their homemade ice cream and wandering through a corn maze or two!

My family had a blast. Kent the owner even sat down and talked with us for a bit. Their employees Joey and Ethan were super friendly and great help whenever we had a question. The peanut butter and chocolate fudge we got is the best fudge we’ve had, our son loved the verry berry homemade ice cream and their apple butter jelly is some of the best we’ve ever had. The mazes were a blast and some of the best we’ve ever been to, between how smooth it is and how maintained they are. We look forward to going back next year! Thank you for an awesome experience, well worth the 1.5 hour drive for us!

Very rude staff. We had placed our small toddler on a pumpkin to rake a picture (being at a pumpkin farm that seemed like a normal thing to do) when we were told that 'pumpkins are a fruit and bruise easily'! So don't touch any of the thousands of pumpkins they have.VERY family unfriendly.Being from Somerset we'd like to support local businesses, but this establ we cannot and will not support or recommend!Thank you for ruining our outing !

website and activities look enticing. However, the staff and business plan ruined it. I went with my wife and our daughter (18mos) looking for something fun to do on the weekend. It was our daughters first visit to the pumpkin patch. It was an absolute waste of time. Before we got a wrist band we were going to get food. as my wife was waiting at a table (feeding our daughter) a staff member came over and kicked her out "not without a wrist band are you doing that here." I was in line for close to 45mins to get food before we planned to explore the farm. After learning of this from my wife we immediately left. I do not recommend for any family with kids under 4 unless you plan to have the staff be extremely rude to you. We will never be back and if we could prevent anyone from going we would. would never recommend this place. From the other reviews here, seems like no one should go unless they want the staff to be mean to their kids too. Be weary if planning to go, probably be best if you take your business elsewhere.

Everything was going great until a guy drove up to us in a gator and immediately gave us attitude about the sunflower we picked. We were told we could pick any sunflower as long as it wasn't taller than us, which we did. He told us we had to pick one from "over there" gesturing to some other part of the same patch. When we explained to him that the flower was within the specifications they laid out to us before, he interrupted with "don't care." This interaction pretty much ruined the experience. We left without wanting to explore further.
