I wish that I could give zero stars. They are understaffed and the automated prescription process doesn't work. It will say that it has processed the order but when you show up to get it, there is no record of the prescription being requested. I showed up on a Saturday and they were closed for the whole day. Unbelievable. The staff is unprofessional in the face of this. I am switching service and suggest that others do the same. Horrible, horrible, horrible experience.

I was visiting family in the area and needed a last minute picture printed for a baby shower. I sent it to the closest CVS and I am glad that it was this one. At first my picture did not load when I sent it through the app, but Ian, the store manager called me personally and spoke me through the process. When I was still not able to get it done online, he suggested I come in and do it. Upon my arrival to the store, we were greeted by a wonderful cashier (sorry I didn't get her name), but she got Ian from the back and he took his time and helped me print an amazing copy of my picture on a canvas. The cashier offered my sister and I cold bottle water as we waited and chatted with us to help pass the time. Ian and all of the employees where so pleasant and helpful and gave true southern hospitality. I normally visit the area once or twice a year and I know for sure I will always use this location for all my photo, pharmacy and other store related needs; as the services was amazing and the staff kindness went above and beyond to help. This makes me confidence to say that I will always spend my dollars there when I am in the area and even just pop in to say hello!!!

Unprofessional team, receive a phone call that Rx is ready, when I get there they say not ready come back in a couple days. Understaffed. Michelle is the only pharmacist who got that place operating correctly -- the pharmacy team was very professional, prescriptions were always ready quickly, and the whole process was very smooth. It is as if the store is being run by children. Get Michelle back she is badly needed.

Would give no stars. Prescription was filled on 1/9. So I arrived 1/10 after work. Was informed not ready and would take an hour. So I arrived the next day after work and only had one prescription ready. Got told the other is on back order! Like every medication that's prescribed smh. The worst.

they NEVER pick up their phone!!!! I drove 45 minutes from my doctors office on hold and pulled into their drive thru still on hold, then I had a question because I knew my prescription was not ready and the RUDE girl then preceeded to tell me I would need to come in, I refused and she got someone to help, now my prescription on the automated service says the pharmacist needs to speak to me BEFORE I pick up my meds.......well after 2 time being on hold 45 minutes my daughter drove up to get it and they CLOSED down the drive thru while she was next in line and told people they had to come inside and when she did go in there were 15 people in line. 2 days later still no meds and no answer on the phone. Rite Aid will now have our business. DO NOT USE THEM.

Don’t EVEN try to get these people in the pharmacy on the phone because apparently they silence the phones. Yesterday, my granddaughter went to the doctor in the AM and at 2pm there still was no prescription for her. I wanted my daughter to call to make sure the script was ready but 20 minutes later still no one answered. So I was leaving to go back to Windsor where I live but I decided to GO TO SMITHFIELD CVS with my phone STILL on waiting for someone to answer in the pharmacy. I observed first and there were no phones being tended to. By the way, prescription was not ready. The reason? Lol. As usual, NOT ENOUGH WORKERS…………
OH AND…….CVS IN WINDSOR IS WONDERFUL

I have not been able to get medicine for my daughter all day. I have talked to the store manager and she said she has no control over the pharmacy. I have talked to the pharmacy and they won’t accept payment, instead they sent me to a website. I did as asked and went to the website that i have never seen in my life. It took 40 minutes to create an account and add my daughter. Her medicine is not listed so i can’t pay for it. I have done everything the store employees have told me and i still can’t get the medicine. I am off of work now, so I am going to the store to ask for the medicine

Just left the drive thru and the woman working the window was incredibly rude! I'm a new customer and needed my prescription. Before she even looked up my issue, she informed me that I need to go inside and she "didn't need me holding up her line" what in the world?! You DONT tell a customer that? AND I went in with my hurt back and I WAS in the system! I won't be going back! Good way to treat a new customer.

CVS at 1109 Bens Church Blvd, Smithfield, VA is the worst. I have had the wrong label put on a prescription, I have had the automated system to text me about a filled order, just to come to the store and the clerk tells me it has not been completed. When I asked why did the system text me, she said it is from Headquarters and they have nothing to do with that. Now, I have called in a prescription for my mother for about a week. They automated system says one thing, but then its not ready. I'm thinking maybe something about her insurance. No one called and said there was a problem, so I called the doc to get things straight, or so I thought. Each time there was a problem, CVS never called and said so. They just let it go on. Well I called CVS again to see when the prescription would be ready. Everytime, the clerk would say, an hour and a half, then 30 minutes. Well I called this morning, there still is a problem. I explained to the clerk how long I had been trying to get this matter fixed, and dead silence in the background. No, I apologize, I'm sorry, no nothing. So then she informs me that maybe I should call the doc because that is who they are waiting on. Such incompetence. I wish there was another place to go, but unfortunately, this is where her insurance encourages her to go. I have never been through such bad, I mean bad customer service in any drugstore. It looks like maybe they might need a course in customer relations.
