I call and say im a guy tfaveling needing help for shaking so prob balancing tires he says sure told them 25min which was exactly that knock at house no answer but did hear someone scream while dogs barking went to backyard where the garage is knocked noooo answer... why tell ppl to show up and not answer christmas eve we are heading to family in florida made us loose time for what ???????? DON’T COME HERE. This man is a thief and a liar. He was sued in the Virginia court of law and he lost. It’s public record, feel free to look it up. SCAM!!!! All his reviews are fake. Robbed my sister for $4550. $2500 for a engine he never ordered. And $2050 to release the car after we got fed up after 4 months of dealing with this clown. We won a civil suit against him and it’s public record. Look it up. He can lie all he wants but a judge completely agreed with us. We are also looking into criminal charges for Mr Allen. Backwoods Garage is THE BEST!!!! If ever you are having a roadside emergency Tim Allen is your guy! My family was stranded while traveling and after so many calls to places that never pick up the phone, Tim called back right away and took less time to get to us than AAA would take to respond to a call. If I could give this business 0 stars, I would. PLEASE do not bring your car here for any repair work. All of his 5 star reviews are fake and he has a record with the police. He will take your money and not work on your car. He will ignore all communication as well. Business owner name is Timothy Allen. Again, please do not give this scam artist your vehicle or your hard earned money!Edit: In response to Timothy - free speech and being honest is not a crime. Stealing from people is a crime. God sees all.

Was travelingTo New York from Florida in my super duty pulling a fifth-wheelI i pull into a rest stop and I notice I had 6 snapped studs I was on the phone for hours couldn't find anyone to come out he came out late in evening worked in the dark and cold and fixed it and he made sure I was ok and followed me and he called me to later to maKe sure everything was alright he did and exilent job and I can't thank him enough felt like the grace of God there are still good people left in this world!!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I was stranded at a gas station around 3 o’clock in the morning. I went into a gas station and grabbed his business card and gave them a call. Tim answer the phone and when I explain to him what I thought the problem was he was able to diagnose it and came over to look at it. He explained to me my alternator went bad and we will have to get a new one.He charged my battery at his shop and took me to AutoZone to get a new alternator to where he installed it and put everything back on and got me back on the road in less than two hours. He truly was a blessing and I was able to get back on the road to my long trip to Miami Florida. Extremely professional and is good at what he does. Would highly recommend.Services: Electrical
