Not from around here, and got some weird looks when I came in, but a timeless place in the center of nowhere. Brownies had just come out of the oven and I was sold a massive one for a whole $1.50. Hot, gooey, and perfection for a cyclist.

I had one of the best sandwiches here; Turkey and Colby with lettuce on white bread. It was fresh and quite tasty.The bread was soft and buttery.The Turkey tasted like Turkey, not processed. As a side I tried the chocolate chip cookies. Excellent choice and homemade.The 2 people working were courteous and attentive to my order.They don't have inside seating but outside no one was bothered by me sitting on the stoop and eating, watching the green hills and fields of northern VA.

A Few months ago on my list of places to go, I visited Grandle's Market in Sengers Glen, Va. A Quaint Country Store that was owned & Operated by a Beautiful Caring Family named The Grandles.Lots of Chatter & Laughter was Heard, coming from People of All Ages. Some were passing Through like me But Most were Regulas just Stopping by to say "Hello" & eat a Sandwich or Two.I Brought a Few Deli Sandwiches & Drinks to take Home. All the Cheese & Meats were Fresh and Good. It's worth the Drive out ~ ?
