I have been hacked. There are 3 other people in my immediate neighborhood who have been hacked.It is taking them weeks to straighten it out. The personnel are nice but there are too few to provide necessary customer service. Wait times on the phone are unacceptable. Service got IMMEDIATELY worse when 2 "experienced bankers" bought BBT and formed Truist. They seem to be in it ONLY for the profits. I need to take my money elsewhere. I advise you to beware of them.

As someone new to town, I wanted to find a bank that could serve my family's needs and that was local. I've been in here twice now, and both times the service just made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome- like I was an annoyance. Nothing egregious, just kind of cold. I thought it might be just me, but looking at other google reviews, it appears I'm not alone. There is another bank here in town that my husband banks at and he has had a great experience! I'm not sure if I'll keep my account open with this bank but I'd recommend you consider the other option in town if you are looking for a friendly reception.

Terrible service where else would you have a cashier say that’s a lot of money to take out or make any kind of comments about your business very rude BB&T was bad but truest is going for a new record low

I avoid going inside of this location, but use the ATM as it's the only location on my route to and from work. The ATM regularly is also not available for the services I need to use. Whether withdrawal or even depositing a check, half the time it just isn't an available option. Will simply start going out of my way to use another location so I can avoid this location all together now.

They are holding over $6,000 of my money and could care less if my family freeze or starve to death with no power durring this snow storm! The have zero reason to be holding my money!

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I needed to get a $20 bill broken into change. I went into the BB&T and asked for change from $20 bill. US currency. I was told, they could not give me change because I did not have an account with them. I was not asking to cash a check. I was asking them to break a $20 bill. I have gone to many banks, that I do not have an account with and they have always been kind enough to give me change. But no not BB&T. So because of their lack of customer service, I will never do business with them. I won't be opening an account with them. And I won't be getting a safety deposit box, (which I had planned to do with their back since they are the closet to my home). Find another bank. This one does not treat people very well.

So I need change for a $20 bill. Not a check. A US bill went to BBT bank. Was told I could not get change unless I had an account. So when did banks become so ?@k# stupid. No wonder people do online banking. I will never have an account with this bank. Customer service is nonexistent.
