“Great stay from beginning to end. Lobby was clean and smelled fresh even upon our late arrival. Room was clean and spacious as well. Hotel bar in the lobby perfect for an airport location. Staff and management were exceptional; friendly, hospitable, and hard-working. Keisha even went back up to assist us in finding my key fob as it had fallen out of my pocket in the room while packing up. She overheard the kids and I looking and went straight upstairs without words and came back a whole hero! We will definitely be back and thank you all for an outstanding stay!”

“I gave 4...but the staff is a 5. Kind,helpful, and considerate. The standard rooms are smaller than I expected. They are tight on the checkout though, as the should to prepare for the next guest. Nice tanning chairs, good treats on the first floor and all the staff works as a family. ”

THE SHOWER was a pleasant surprise! Let me explain...

We've all been there...you need a shower at an inexpensive hotel, but you shudder with dread, knowing that the moment that the faucet is turned, the shrieking of a thousand lost souls accompanied by a quartet of angry industrial diesel engines being shoved over Niagra Falls will likely sound from the water lines in the walls. That is NOT the case here! The shower, and indeed the whole bathroom was quite nice, notably devoid of shrieking water lines!

Everything else does look kind of old and in need of updating, and the mattress in our room was rather firm and not very thick, BUT it is nonetheless clean and in my opinion, a good value.

Noteworthy details: Old, and mattress isn't a 10/10, but clean, and the SHOWER IS NOT LOUD!”

“So I was a bit worried about the reviews prior to booking this hotel for me and my family. We are traveling to our port for a cruise and just needed a nice place to stop by. Hampton is a must for me since I work for the brand and only find it up to my standards. Unfortunately you will see a lot of what I can only describe as horror in these other rooms from the previous reviews. But I assure you if you book one of the many suites you won’t be disappointed. It looks as if everything including the building and lobby its self was renovated which was mentioned in the reviews. The rooms are just absolutely beautiful, the views as-well. Everything was clean and I didn’t find one thing out of place when I inspected my room. When we checked in the lady at the front desk mentioned a partner discount with the local Mexican restaurant across the street which is just absolutely fantastic. I did overhear that they alternate hot and cold breakfast here which isn’t something I’ve ever heard of and they start breakfast at 7am-10am. One thing I found a little disappointing was the pool hours. They close the pool ( and yes they have a nice hot tub) at 8pm, I would have wished it was open a little longer but. The service was so/so the front desk attendant was very nice just maybe a little laid back. I know at my job being on your phone infront of guests while they are trying to check in is a no no, I actually went to get a duplicate key and she was scrolling on her phone while a guest was waiting for her to take her card. And as an employee it’s just different as to the process I do at my location. Overall if the reviews are what’s stopping you from booking as it almost made me, I can guarantee that they are doing much MUCH better now and that it is a nice place to lay your head for the night.Oh and please if management is reading this please consider cleaning the elevator it is filthy.”

“Wonderful hotel. The staff was friendly and they were pet friendly so me and my fur babies were welcomed with our stress. We had a wonderful visit with family and it was nice to come back to a family friendly hotel. We did not use the pool but it was a nice option. I did use the on site laundry and that was nice so I didn't have to wash the clothes when we get home. Me and my sister and the fur babies will stay here again when we come back to see the family. Thanks for a great hotel with no worries.”

“Let me be honest here. No, this is not the Marriott. Nor is it the best in the area. However, if you don't want to be bothered, or watched, or surrounded by noise and foolishness, or have to deal with 12, this is your spot. Quiet hole in the wall.”

“I liked it here, but some rooms are just too noisy, anything near the ice making machines are just too loud.

Rooms: Ask for anything away from those dreaded ice machines, they drive you nuts.”

“It was ok and they were cleaning as we where enjoying our Christmas I appreciate that .Walkability: The stores that I like are in walking distance thats a plus and if u are not into walking the bus will get u there also”
