“Olease donate to the DAV thrift store. Its a great place all kinds of items new and antique. The proceeds go to help disabled veterans. I always donate here and not to goodwill as goodwill is for profit.”

“My wife and I recently got married at Triple J and were so impressed with this venue! Kim was so personable and helpful when planning our special day. She has soooo many decorations to choose from and can put together beautiful floral arrangements! She goes above and beyond to make your day amazing. Many of our guests were also impressed with the space, so I think we will be attending some more wedding there in the future!”

“It was such a pleasure to work with the Bent Oaks Manor team. Our couple hosted their wedding rehearsal and send off brunch here and were so happy to have found this location as a Wedding Headquarters. All their groom's party had the ability to stay in one location and they were able to keep the celebration going all weekend long. Communication was a breeze and the Manor's grounds and indoor spaces were immaculately kept. We would highly recommend this location to other couples, friends, and family in the future!”

“I don’t know how I’ve lived right down the street from this place for most of my life and never knew it was a bed and breakfast and an events venue! It’s amazing inside! Recently attended a 70s themed surprise bday party here and they did not disappoint one bit! There was a whole staff of people eager to help and make the night one to remember, from the open bar and friendly bartender to the delicious dinner which was served buffet-style with one friendly staff member serving each portion for each dish… but nothing compares to the interior and the layout of that place - THEY HAVE A HUGE BALLROOM INSIDE!! I’m attaching pictures, thats the best I can do but I give this place 5 stars and will look for opportunities to incorporate them into my future events as often as I can. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.”

“I am absolutely blown away by Rendezvous. This beautiful event space was perfect for my sister’s baby shower. The venue went above and beyond with hospitality and made this such a fun event! Everything was super clean and ready for us when we came to set up, and they were extremely accommodating throughout the entire planning process. I can’t recommend this venue enough!”

“Great play area! Haven’t been in years wanted to go back called a the Pricing is a bit much which is disappointing it would have cost me close to $50 to go play. Stinks because we used to love this place. I wish it had a family cap or membership! That would be amazing. GPS for ages 1-4 but once they’re much older personally they’re a bit too big to be in the. When my boys were 2-4 we struggled to go because the ages allowed in the is up to 12. Accident waiting to happen. Certain ages should play at certain times. As a mom with big age gaps I know that’s hard but someone going to get hurt.”

“Stayed here in the Captain's Office room, had a great time and really enjoyed the room and ambiance. Great location to hit downtown, but also very quiet. The common area was amazing as well with lots of room and seating. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had.”

“I took a walk with my dog the other day here and it was so cool to see the artwork! Clean, quiet, great experience! I’m glad Roanoke has this! Wish we had even more stuff like this here.”

“My husband and I had our wedding reception here last weekend and we were so pleased with how it turned out. Hannah Martin catered to all of our many requests with such a calming demeanor. We had a large wedding and could not find a venue that would comfortably fit everyone along with the other vendors and decor that come with weddings. Charter Hall ended up being the perfect size customized to our wants and needs with guests stating they did not feel crammed. We rented out the second floor for cocktail hour live music and the third for the main reception hall. Hannah was so helpful throughout the months long process of planning a wedding and went above and beyond to make our day memorable and smooth sailing. Thank you Hannah!”

“Should have included breakfast for the price. My own mistake not verifying, but generally if you have a pool and hot tub, there would definitely be breakfast. There was breakfast available for an additional fee, and not really a modest one.”

“The CoLab is such a great place to do work! We have used it for solo working, private appointments, staff meetings, and social groups. Several guests have commented on how clean and welcoming the inside is -- the people are great too!Ron has always been helpful and encouraging. He truly strives to support local businesses by making the best use of the space. Pricing is extremely clear and reservation emails are automatic and include all necessary details. It's also great that the doors are locked because it helps create a peaceful and secure environment.I definitely recommend the CoLab :)”

“First the negative side of the review. This is a nice hotel but a few things bothered me. Our room was late for check in and I'm told the suites are always cleaned last. I am fine with that but your own check in hours are 3PM. I can only imagine how bad ingress or egress might be here in snowy or icy weather. The road coming in off Electric Ave is steep and windy. They really parked this hotel up a very tall man made hill. Nice views if you have the right room. Twice I started turning into the back lot when cars came around from the front too fast and almost hit me. I learned to accelerate quicker into here but it's a sharp turn so you have to be careful. Come nighttime on our first night I found the back entrance was still unlocked. This was after 8PM where anyone could enter. Security for all guests and employees dictate these doors should be locked come nightfall. Minor thing but my background lets this bother me. But this hotel wins the award for having two of the slowest elevators known to mankind and even an employee laughed when I joked about it. They said they were horrible to deal with. The good: The staff were all friendly to include the breakfast area folks. The cook had a great sense of humor and seemed truly happy. Standard HGI breakfast meaning you can get full here if you want. The views from our 5th floor room were excellent. Roanoke has grown so much that it is kind of sad to see all the lights, restaurants, stores and so on from this view but the views of the mountains were excellent. We would stay here again. Attached is the sunset looking from our room.”

“Haven’t stayed here, but I’ve visited the restaurant/bar a few times. The one thing bringing me back is Stevie, the bartender. She’s amazing! The service is impeccable, and she’s super friendly.”
