Very rude. If you don’t want people asking relevant questions then you should write better descriptions! Good job earning an honest review!

I was having trouble with my AC not blowing cold air and i took it back to the dealership and they charged me over $300 just to check if there was anything wrong with my AC and ended up finding nothing. I was recommended this place by a good friend. I showed up here and within 20 minutes my car was fixed for less than half of the price!!! This guy knows what he is doing!!

Have been a customer here for years, for cars and service, and always treated right. Fair and reasonable. If I want the real answer and fair price on a car issue, I always come to the owner Mark for the answer. Hands down the best.

Was told by local repair shop that my loud rattling noise under my hood my 2013 Honda odyssey Van was going to be $1500. Mark (the owner of Salem select ) provided a correct diagnosis and equally important perform the service work for 1/3 the cost not often do you find a true trustworthy vendor that treats you more than fair these days fix the exception to the rule they treat you like family!

Something just isn’t right here. We got a car inspected by a reputable mechanic unrelated to the dealer, discovered something was wrong with it, and were then told by Salem select that indeed nothing was wrong with it. They took the car to their preferred neighboring mechanic, who they said determined that nothing was wrong. Upon speaking to said neighboring mechanic, he would not confirm that he looked at the car. When told that the guys at Salem select said he had looked at it, he got agitated and said he didn’t want to get involved. I never felt like anyone was telling the whole story. There seems to be some definite scheming going on here so buyer beware.Edit To reply to your reply: there is no besmirching going on here. I’m simply providing my experience to people in the area, so they can make an informed decision. The mechanic I used to inspect the car may have recently moved to Salem, but he’s been a mechanic for far longer. He has a huge amount of reviews, so the percentage of 1 stars is rather low. Most reviews speak of a great experience with great people. He doesn’t even work on hybrid cars, which is what was inspected, so he would have no reason to pretend there’s an issue. He simply scanned the car, and discovered an issue with the hybrid battery. I am actually the son who drove the car, and I did not absolutely love it. I was just glad to be able to drive a 2nd gen prius as I hadn’t yet. So as a matter of fact, thank you for that opportunity. For the gen 2 Prius, it typically takes 50 miles for warning lights to reappear, so it means nothing that the lights didn’t reappear after 20. I can only provide my experience, and I know that an unrelated mechanic found an issue, you said your preferred mechanic got rid of the issue, and your preferred mechanic would not confirm he did this. Best of luck to you in selling the car.

I got a 97 Jeep GC from Mr. Mark Wickham a year ago and the car was solid. After someone crashed into me and damaged it I came back to look for a replacement. I received advice that will hopefully save me a bunch of $$$. Mr. Wickham remembers his customers and treats them well.
