Trying to understand why my husband has been in severe pain and left voicemails and is not hearing back. Not sure if Dr. Gardner is aware of this but not hearing back is unacceptable. This is not the first time we’ve had this experience as a family. I’ll be calling myself on Monday if we don’t hear back so you can provide me an explanation then.

UPDATE... I showed up this morning at 8:45am for my 9:00am appointment which was scheduled more than 6 months ago. I have been coming to see this doctor for more than 5 years, and as usual, every single visit is an excruciatingly long wait... usually a minimum of 45-50 minutes to be called back... and then another 30-40 minute wait alone in the examination room... before the doctor arrives. This morning was more of the same... only this time... I got up, complained, and cancelled my appointment. One previous time when I gently nudged about the long wait, I was told that I should have more compassion for other patients that may require more time with the doctor which causes the schedule to back up. Well, today, I was the first patient of the day... had scheduled my appointment 6 months in advance! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND ARROGANT! MY TIME IS JUST AS VALUABLE AS THOSE WORKING IN THE PRACTICE. My appointment today was simply to get blood work done so the doctor won't cancel my long time maintenance drug prescription. Very simple... Should be a short visit, pay my annual appointment dues, and let me go! Why should I have to be there for hours just to ensure my prescription gets continued???

Staff is very friendly and professional. They are compassionate and focused on you as a patient. The office is well run so appointments are on time. If you use the MyChart app, eCheckIn is even easier and faster.

Let me first say Dr. Saks is the BEST primary care doctor I have ever had and I’ve been going to him for years now. By far the kindest and most compassionate person I have met. He genuinely cares about his patients and shows that with his bedside manner as well. I would never switch. HOWEVER; the front staff in this office is absolutely AWFUL. No empathy and lack compassion. I’ve had several rude encounters and witnessed them as well. This past Friday 5/12/23 was the most frustrating for me. I called to let the office know I would be about 10 mins late and respect the doctors time. I ended up being 5-6 mins late. The lady on the phone was abrupt and said “if your 15 mins late he won’t see you” I said okay, well I said I would be about 10 mins late even though I have waited over an hour to be seen. It’s also up to the provider if he wants to see his late patient or not. I get there and check in and I hear the girl that answered the phone talking about how people always do that and complain.. and kept complaining about it, then makes the comment well she has 3 mins to get here. How rude to talk about patient’s without realizing they are right in the waiting room. Imagine what they talk about when you aren’t in front of them. If they had different front staff this office would be 5 stars for sure. I’m not a patient who doesn’t understand emergencies happen and doctors run behind. I’m very familiar with healthcare . Every patient that walks through your door should feel as if they are not an annoyance or bother though and the front fails to make them feel that. They also shouldn’t make medical decisions for the patient either. Hopefully this can change.

Well after complaining to the manager of the Family medicine side where my drs office is about a certain Dr that continues to change the amount I'm allowed on prescriptions she told me she would call back but never did and this isn't the first time either..so if you have prescriptions from here watch for Dr Diana Young changing the amount your allotted cause she can get away with it every time you complain and sends your prescriptions to pharmacy's you do not use..other than this problem with this woman, the place and MY Dr are excellent..but watch out for Dr Young she'll mess up your prescriptions and then change it in her computer to make it look like the pharmacy or your Dr sent it to the wrong place..I will be checking to see if I can find another Drs office and this experience has been goin on for 2yrs without any reprimand.

Just didn't like my experienceUpdate I have already talk to the patient advocate I don't know how much good that did but I told them about setting up my appointment in advance and them canceling the next day before and reschedule it 3 months later like my time's not important to they truly just didn't understand that I took time off of work I didn't have and couldn't get back and lost pay that day and all honestly I'd never even really gotten an apology from them

I will say I love my Dr and the other dra here. My biggest issue is the rude receptionist that this office has. I called today for a sick appt and I'm Assuming when she put me on hold she thought she had put me on hold but she didn't and I heard her mock me . I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life...

I don’t recommend this place I went with back out and in pain from my Sciatica and the woman who was supposed to help, can’t recall her name she had brown curly hair, in her 30s treated me terribly. She never examined me, never got up from her chair. Never gave me anything even prescription for something simple like Ibuprofen, she grilled me what I did for a living and other questions that had nothing to do with why I was there. I was treated like I was just there for pain pills. She was rude and she said go see a chiropractor but didn’t give a referral. I’ll never go back there. How I was treated still angers me and if I could remember her name I would file complaint with her superiors. No one should be treated like that especially if they’re hurting.

Today you turned me away for my appointment saying I was 13 minutes late. I was not 13 minutes late. I arrived for my appt 1 minute early, but the doors were locked. No one had told me I needed to call and there was no note on that door so I was confused and had to walk around for a minute until I found a note on another door saying to call. I called at 4 minutes past my appt time (bc it took me a few minutes to find the note) and the phone rang several times but no one answered. I called again and got checked in. Ten minutes later I got a call saying never mind, the doc had taken another patient because I was 13 minutes late. No one would believe I was not 13 minutes late. I want to post this picture of my AT&T call log here to show I called twice - the first time at 3:34 and again at 3:36. The last lady I talked to, I was crying and so scared for my life (can't get my meds now) and she literally rolled her eyes and shut the door in my face. I know you can't/won't do anything about that now. But I did want you to see I was not lying. I called 4 minutes late. I would have been right on time if someone had either told me the door would be locked and I'd need to call, of if there had been a note on that door. I don't know how long I'll have to go without my BP meds now. But I at least want y'all to know I was not the one who was lying.

Only thing I can say is Dr Saks and his nurse Tara are the best. Dr Saks takes the time to listen to you and he also answers MyChart promptly. Tara returns phone calls even if it takes multiple phone calls to get done whatever it is. They’re a good team and would recommend anyone to see them.

Dr. Saks is an amazing doctor. I drive over 30 minutes across town just to see him.
