My dog absolutely loves coming here. We have done boarding, daycare, and nail services here for our large dog and have absolutely no complaints.

I have been bringing my dogs here for 5 years. We have had SO many bad experiences with the old owners and the new. Our dog was impregnated here, multiple attacks where stitches were needed, and the sheer rudeness of the manager. Today was the last straw. I just purchased a package for my 3 dogs 2 days ago. Today, they informed my wife that a new package was coming up and they were unwilling to split this 10 day package between my 3 dogs. I just was told a few months ago that this was fine to be done by the owner, and when I explained this to the manager she laughed at me and said this is how it is. I refuse to trust my dogs with someone who is so rude, and honestly with the amount of times my dogs have been hurt here I would t recommend it to anyways. Please if you care about your fur babies do NOT take them here.

Klub K-9 kept my little weiner dog happy and healthy while we were on a week long vacation. They were extremely accommodating seeing as we had to book last minute due to our pet-sitter bailing out. I've never had to board my puppy before, but the employees were so very kind and made everything as smooth as possible for us and our fur-baby. Highly appreciated and Highly recommend! We will be booking him a stay there again in the very near future ? ? ?

I have been taking my Golden Retriever here for daycare consistently for two months. He loves daycare and enjoys socializing and playing with his “friends”. The staff is friendly and cares about each dog. I highly recommend Klub Kanine and Barkley and Rover to anyone who works full-time and is considering daycare options in the Roanoke Valley.

My Doberman just started coming here. These are the nicest, most professional people I've dealt with in a long time. It is obvious they care about all of the dogs. My dog is worn out when he gets home and is so happy and that's all that matters to me. Bravo to the owners / managers and to the staff for being top notch. I'm so glad I found this place.

Brittany has groomed both of my dogs several times now and they love her!! She’s amazing! So is the other staff that I’ve interacted with! My babies are always happy when we get there and leave nice and fluffy! I can’t imagine taking them anywhere else! She is great!!!

We love taking our dog to get groomed here! Brittany has been so wonderful with our dog Luna. I always know that she will be completely taken care of and she is always so sweet with her. Always happy with her hair cut and they are great not to keep her too long which I love!

We have been bringing Murphy here since he was approximately 6 months old. He started on the Klub Kanine side and they made him welcomed with open arms and loved. Fast forward to him presently at the age of two on the Barkley and Rover side. To say that my sweet boy is super excited to come to daycare everyday would be an understatement. The employees are so sweet and friendly. The genuinely seem to care about him and love to see him when he gets there every morning. Currently the daycare is going through some renovations and I am so very excited to see what changes will occur to benefit all the sweet pups.Keep up the GREAT work and thank you for loving our dogs!!!!

What the rate this place Tough to decide. I was going to board my dog here and decided to use someone else. Stopped in to check the place out. Smelled the place with in a foot of the front door. A Lady came form the back to greet me and did have a broom and dust pan. But the smell there was nearly overwhelming. She was nice and helpful. No problem there. Asked to see the boarding area and was told they only give tours of the boarding area on weekends. Huh Strange rule and a red flag to me at least consider the strong stink. Yes I know with many dogs there is smell But I have used other boarding places and even at my vet the smell is nowhere near that strong.Edit: I knocked them down to one star for posting fake reviews to bury my negative review and one other. Funny how so many glowing reviews showed up since mine and 8 of them mentioned the same person. Yea same trick the car dealer doA issue for me but maybe not for others Their boarding area is what I would call a open area in the back where all dogs mingle together. Only thing they have if your dog isn't good with that or you don't want yours in a community is crates. My dog does not take to being crates and is social but wouldn't be happy being around a large number of dogs. They disclosed the crate option but the community area was not made clear

Barkley and Rover is a great place. My dog has boarded there and also goes to play. She is hyper and not very open to anyone who is not me, but they have made huge strides getting her to come around, and she enjoys her time there and comes home completely exhausted. Kudos to the team at Barkley and Rover, they are kind, considerate and friendly to everyone. Its like taking my dog to a family member. The owners have amassed a great group of people! Thank you!!!!

I bring my dogs there for grooming. Brittany is fabulous with my senior dogs. She treats them as if they are her own. She is fabulous!

I arrived here with my over 20 lb dog after making reservations. They were kind and escorted me and my dog to Barkley and Rover next door and introduced us. Lol

First time my dog went today and she had bite marks on both ears which was bloody. She was filthy and she was starving by the time she got home. Never again will she go there. Nor would I ever recommend it to anyone.

Was just checking out their services. I may want to take Murphy to check it out. And then, if I need boarding, I'll know where to go. They have excellent reviews!
