Came in asked about a cooking item and if they had it and I assume Indian lady was completely disrespectful and rude yelling where it was with inappropriate hand gestures. Won’t be back

Very bad service at this location. I grew up in Salem living in five minutes from there came back to visit to buy some snacks. The German bring my snacks up and pointed at the register. I assume she can speak English so I asked him he said he did. I just felt that was very rude.

The own wife is a great Lady that help you with a wonderful Smile and understand English very well as an Indian woman but her Husband donot understand English well some time trying to get over to him will make a difference in buying something in the Store. I fine myself going out of my way to go someplace else. But I will always buy from he wife and personally go in when she is there.

I wouldn’t even given a star review, the lady who works there is nice but the older guy is rude and hateful and one slip up that he don’t like he will kick you out of the store for no reason and tells you not to come back, fine by me I’m not gonna support people who’s gonna act like that

Hours are incorrect constantly and it is rather annoying. They open one hour later than the website says, except Saturday, in which they open two hours later. They also close an hour early every day, this is all fine and dandy with the exception of not changing the hours on the website to meet that. Very annoying when you have stayed up all night and are waiting to go there only to get there and have to wait an hour.

I wouldn't give this place even one star. My girlfriend went in and tried to buy a coke with her credit card. The cashier was on the phone the entire time, rang up her drink, then yelled at her and said, “No, no, no! You have to buy more.†Are you kidding me? Don't you dare yell at my girlfriend for trying to buy one coke. Your “$5 minimum†is freaking ridiculous. If I only want to buy a coke, then let me buy a freaking coke. Yell at her again.

The present owner misleads those he hires to help , does not pay to train for the job , pays below minimum wage . Worked 8 hrs and was paid $21.00 that's equivalent to around $2.62 per hour . It's Virginia Law to pay at least minimum wage to employees , including the disabled or its considered exploitation of the disabled or non disabled .

Cha-cha is awesome. He and his wife run a convenience store and cook all day. Their fried rice is the best in the entire Roanoke/Salem area. Go for the bulgogi rice.

Good place to buy kegs. Price is a little high but they usually have common beer in stock.
