The facility was very clean. Lots of fun programs for young and old.After a light workout I Had fun in thepool and I felt great. Unfortunately my husband passed away recently and I can't afford to go anymore. ? . Maby in the future. Thanks .

Very clean and maintained gym and court. Plenty of equipment that is spaced out really well. Keep it that way! All the staff are approachable and knowledgeable! Nice sized pool. Many classes are offered as well.

The scent of chlorine met us at the door, wishing for salt water pools for all public pools. There is no steam room, which is truly sad! and not a great selection of classes, the Y’s should offer 1/2 hour classes at beginner levels and the first 3 hours of operation there should be classes, classes, classes! hours of operation are shorter than most YMCA’s However, the location of this Y is in such a densely populated but rural area, if it were well run it would likely need to be 4 times the size, but the community would be so blessed. It’s interesting this Y requires members to register for each class and each time we swim, great if the ap works, otherwise very tedious and a real blocker. But it does set a higher standard worth achieving. If I work as an instructor I would feel good about knowing who is coming and going to my classes. This location has great potential to make so much greater use indoors and out…community gardening and such.

The pool at the Caroline County Y is poorly run. They are consistently short staffed which means you are not able to utilize the pools. The lifeguards have been caught sleeping in the breakroom, socializing in the breakroom and not opening the doors on time and/or they don't show up at all. If they are not able to provide the services at the times posted on the schedule, they need to remove that time slot. There should also be some form of supervision over the lifeguards to ensure they are doing their jobs. It is unreasonable for management to tell a paying customer they should be more understanding of the sub-standard services.

The amenities I use are the gym (free weights, machines, cardio) and the kids Stay & Play. The gym has everything you need in terms of equipment and is well kept. The Stay & Play is great. I bring my kids with me every week day — they love going, have tons of fun, and the girls caring for them are wonderful!
