Open daily from dawn to dusk, the Park is well maintained by the County, and the restrooms are usually clean. There is much more here than a fine skatepark. There is also a picnic pavilion with tables, grills, horseshoe pits, and trash receptacles. Nearby, there is a basketball court, a playground for small children, ample parking, and the highlighted feature, a rugged 2 mi Woodland Trail with several challenging hills for a good hike.

Jan.2, 2021 update: Good people, great compact skatepark to get some training in. Has the best half pipe in Virginia, ramps and ledges are smooth and grind well. Has a little bit of everything you need to develop your skills!

Could use a hip but really fun to skate but the stair set in there has no where to land so no one really skates but it is really fun

Always loved this park, just wish they’d stop taking stuff out. Took out the train cars and the second play set. What next?
