Took my truck for an inspection, they said it needed new brake calipers and wiper blades. I replaced both and took it back. This time it supposedly needs back brakes and front tires. It didn't get driven while I worked on it. Seems kinda like a scam going on. Never going back there.

Above and beyond wonderful service. I had a nail in my tire and the pressure was scary low. Everyone at University tires, especially Steve, took such good care of me. They diagnosed the problem while I waited in the lovely air conditioning and before I knew it they had filled the tire with air and told me the best route to take it to my dealership. On top of this stellar service they didn't even charge me.

I have some more issues with trust and lies from numerous staff at this location. To begin again. I originally bought my car to university tire and auto in ruckersville for a tire rotation and balance as well as a state inspection sticker. They called me around noon to state that the car needed new brakes and rotors. I told them to put a rejection sticker on it and I would be by later to pick up the car. A couple of hours later they called back to state the lugs and tread bolts were stretch and needed replacing. I asked them how this happened since they were the last ones to take the tires off and was told that driving at 70mph then slowing down would cause this problem. Note: Last year at University Tire Ruckersville the same thing happen. i have never in my 40 plus years of driving ever experience anything like this before. Went to pay for the repair of the bolts and lug nuts plus the inspection sticker and was told it would be 170. My jaw dropped and questioned the practice in the back. They either over torque them last year or cross threaded them. I told them I didn't appreciate being lied to about the bolt expanding and contracting to speed. Complete lie. The other manager Cory stated I have my car service 1000 miles ago with an oil change and differential Fluid at Valvoline. He was correct. He told me my tires were rotated and balance there since it was complimentary with the oil change. I told him absolutely not. I would have payed an extra 30 to 40 for that service and would have been asked to exit my car for this to happen. He also stated they would need to take my tires off to perform the differential change. Another lie. He even went so far to tell me he called them to verify this. Another lie. I talked to corporate who assured me this was not the case at any of there stations. Cory called me a liar. I told them to call Greene county sheriff department to have them come to hear how they are stealing money from their customers. University Tire did take the labor off the bill. Paid the bill and told them I would never come back ever. When I got home I noticed that the mark I place on driver side front wheel was in the same location. Front tire was not rotated. Called University tire again to ask for an explanation and was told by Cory that they may not have rotated them in fear of more damage to the bolts and lugs. I told Cory he should have told me that when I picked up my car. He went back to talk with the "mechanic" who assured Cory the tire were rotated and balanced. Liar. The only ray of sun was Onnie who I believe is the district manager. Very professional and took everything off the bill except the inspection which I told him I would pay. When I took my car to another shop there were 22mm lugs on two 19mm studs. The two they replaced. Three lugs were also stripped. JSMH. Couldn't believe the incompetence of University Tire Ruckersville. The shop that did the repair Hensley Auto did a wonderful job and excellent work to repair the damage that was done. It's amazing to be that University Tire just didn't eat ten dollars to satisfy a customer. I did give the bill to Onnie and he stated he would need to talk with corporate about it. Once again a shining light for such a dark deceitful place. He stated they would not pay for the fixes. It didn't surprise me. Onnie was courteous polite and valued by me. Wish University Tire had more employees like him. I wish the best for him being in an arena of crooks and so called "mechanics”. Times must be tough to steal from hard working Americans

I had a nail in my passenger side rear tire this morning. I called and talked to Steve and he said bring it in. No appointment was needed. They were very accommodating, friendly and I did not have to wait very long! Thank you guys!

I use to come here all the time. It was never a great experience but it was fast service. I come in for the first time in over a year to get an inspection that's all. They come back to tell me I passed inspection all besides for a nail in my tire that can be patched. Plus my oil change is done??? What oil change? They make a mistake come back and said the oil change is free but we didnt actually do your inspection come back 45 minutes later to tell my I have a rejection stick and 800 dollars in repairs. This place is really out here robbing people and I or anyone else that is associated with me will never step foot in any university parking lot again

Highway robbery! They said one thing and then come back and say a complete different thing. Paid $1,100 for a glorified oil change and not fixing my misfire.

Customer service is non-existent. Went for new tires and a state inspection. The inspection failed, as expected. There was an issue with the rear brakes and a couple other things. The brakes became the issue. Two people couldn't explain what the exact issue was but for $3200 they could fix it! What?! I fixed what one person showed me. Brought it back and the inspector said it was something else. Ok, went home and fixed exactly what the inspector said it was, brought it back and he says it something else! Mind you I live 45 minutes away. Instead of offering to fix it right then, it is on a lift, he says bring it back tomorrow. Again What?! This was a colossal waste of time and effort and frustration. Never again. Parts to fix everything was a couple hundred bucks. $3000 dollars... my ass.

Onnie was incredibly helpful and resourceful over the phone. He was willing to research the issue I was having even without the guarantee of the job. I will definitely use Ruckersville University Tire and Auto the next time I need a service done!

Dropped vehicle off for oil change and state inspection. Oil was changed but nothing was done regarding the state inspection. Tires were not rotated although that is listed as part of an oil change.

I own a winery in the Charlottesville area and blew a tire on our forklift right here at the start of grape harvest. Our forklift is critical. Shelby at University was fantastic. He found two tires that would work and got them to me the next morning! He knew it was urgent. Will from University showed up with the tires and fixed the forklift that morning. He was equally fantastic! They saved us from impacting our harvest. My thanks to Shelby and Will! I would recommend them to anyone!ThanksJay
