“I use this post office quite a bit and the clerks really do a good job. They keep a great attitude and I see a lot of passport people in there which takes a long time for the clerks. Always very helpful to me. And they do a great job dealing with some of the local idiots, who have left one star reviews here”

“A very nice place to conduct business. The current postmistress is a very nice, helpful person. I purposely avoided this establishment for years because the previous postmistress was curt, rude, dogmatic. On one occasion she actually pulled the sliding metal window closed in mid sentence because the clock struck noon and it was lunchtime! I was blown away! I heard she retired. Good riddance.”

“Stone cold eye appeal! Yes, this post office in Upperville literally rocks! Of all the post offices I've reviewed, (and I have tagged them all in a collection on Yelp) this building is my favorite to date, with Drewryville a close second! Built in 1807, this post office has been registered as a Virginia historic landmark. It's interesting to read the history of Alexander Spotswood appointed as deputy general postmaster of America. I love all the stone walls and architecture in this area near Winchester, Loudoun County, Clarke County and along the countryside. Keeping with the aesthetic of the era, Upperville post office doesn't disappoint. It's small structure packs a punch with an eyelid dormer perched on the roof, a wrought iron gate, stately wooden columns, surrounded by lush trees and foliage with a cozy wooden bench nestled amongst the beautiful landscaping. Inside is just as quaint as the outside. Old brass post boxes line the walls awaiting to be filled by the postman. This post office serves the community of Upperville and provides the typical services, although no passport service. The hours are M-F 9:00-12:00, 1:00-5:00 and Sat. 9:00-12:00. Whether you visit for mail supplies or services, or just to admire a touch of history, Upperville Post Office delivers!”

“The postal clerks here know what they are doing and always very helpful........cannot say the same for the Purceville post office where have had nothing but trouble and clerks don't have a clue what they are doing.”

“I’ve had no life altering problems with this post office. It’s a small town post office and in general post offices are struggling with resources due to what happened during COVID and changes from top down.Everyone’s been nice to me here. Sometimes things arrive late but they arrive. I think they’re doing their best.”
