“I've come here for gas on and off for the past several years for family trips out of town. Never a wait, never any problem with the pumps, and Krogers are typically one of the better priced gas stations anywhere around. Never had an interaction with an employee, but it doesn't speak for the bad service. I've just been fortunate enough to not have to bother them”
“Well today's special is taco salad and I have to say I'm impressed. It has quite a bit of meat, lettuce, tomatoes on tortilla chips with a packet of sour cream and a cup of salsa.”
“This is the cleanest DG I've been to. The staff there are always nice and helpful. There's still a tiny bit of clutter due to the nature of this type of store, but you could run through the aisles and never trip over merchandise.If you go to a DG, go to this one. It's really something else compared to the others in this area.”

“Stopped here on the way home. Place was busy, and the self checkout was broken. However, the one cashier was working super quickly and was nice! Everything was decorated up for Valentine's with many options for you to get something nice for your honey!This store has definitely improved in the last few years. It is by far one of the better ones! Clean, employees are friendly and helpful, lots of space to walk around in. Most of the store is a cake walk in terms of layout and appearance.What would've been a 2 star three years ago is now a 5 star, which goes to show you that the right set of people makes or breaks a store. Highly recommend!”

“Nice girls. Generous helpings of good food. Love their giant apples ( this store is partly owned by a local orchard.) Nice and reasonably priced items such as Apple butter, pickled vegetables, jams, etc. Homemade Peach ice cream great on hot day!”
“The absolute best hot dogs around. They are not just good but you can actually get French fries too and not just chips. Lastly, you always feel welcome and not like you’re bothering them like some similar places around. Can’t wait to go back and get another order for the whole family!”

“WE MISS KROGER IN NC! We were meeting a friend in Greensboro for lunch and decided to drive the 90 minutes up to this location to get our Kroger fix. I don't know why we decided to patronize them since the reason they closed all the NC locations was to break the employee's union and many lost their pensions that they were so close to getting. Oh, well, crazy us!The store is typical Kroger all the way. We actually came here for one of their types of toilet tissue specifically that we found at one of their knock off stores that they have in the Midwest called Ruler Foods by Kroger. They're no frills like Aldi where merchandise is just left in their shipping boxes and placed on shelves. It's stuff that either the label has been updated (as we found to be the case with the ones at this Kroger in Rocky Mount) or maybe overstock items. Anyway, we stocked up on the TP that's better than what we'd been getting at Aldi.We did get a number of other items and grumbled all the way thru the place about how the shoppers and employees in NC got cheated by the company in one way or another. Beware people of VA, you may be next on the chopping block!”

Food rarely scan correctly in self check out stations, hit & miss in stocking items, dairy seems to be poorly managed & is always missing items i normally buy every trip requiring me to visit a different store”
“I have been to this store quite a few times. It is a clean, well stocked store with lots of helpful employees and items out the wazoo.
It is among the better Walmart stores I have been to in this area.
I do recommend coming here.”

“Nice store. This Food Lion was clean. It looks as if its been recently stocked. They did a good job having shelves organized. It had multiple cashiers ready to ring you up. No self checkout counters.”
