I found this salon on instagram and started seeing Amethyst. She is an amazing stylist. The vibe of the salon is top notch and the staff are all super friendly.

I had not had my hair done at all in over a year so I woke up yesterday morning and decided to call around to local salons to see if anyone was available for a partial highlight and cut which also means washing, drying and styling. Crown Studio was my first call and Heather S had an opening due to a cancellation! I have been to Crown before but the stylist i had used was no longer working at Crown. I wanted a specific cut and style to match what I had gotten done years prior So using a different stylist I hadn't worked with before I was worried it wouldn't come out as I expected. I was wrong! Heather S met ALL my expectations! She was so sweet, easy to converse with and overall a top notch hair stylist. I also have been struggling with dry scalp issues and dandruff / flaking due to the hard water at my home. It can be really embarrassing to talk about but I brought it up to Heather and she expressed that she deals with the same issues (we live within a few miles of each other so we both have hard water) when it was time to wash my hair Heather scrubbed and scrubbed my scalp. I have used numerous products to try to get the build up off my scalp to no avail. But Heather got ALL the patches off my scalp my scalp is SILKY smooth!! I have not had a smooth scalp in years. Heather gave me my confidence back. I am a mother of two young children and I just don't have time to work on myself but Heather brought my hair back to life and i am so grateful! I will definitely be going back to Heather S! I'll be posting the picture I showed Heather of what I wanted done and the picture I took right after i walked out of the salon and got in my car! I am so pleased I can't say it enough!

Trim and color I was very nervous being it was the first time visiting Crown Studios. I was warmly greeted and Jordan Smith made me feel very confortable with her sunny personality. She gave me a beautiful hair cut and color. The prices were very reasonable. When I arrived home my husband loved my hair color and cut, and he is alway very critical. What a wonderful place and atmosphere. So happy I found this salon on the internet and can't wait to go back. Antoinette Ciaglo of Glade Hill, Virginia 24092

Took my wife to get her hair done in July. Within 2 wks all of the perm is gone! 3 hrs was a waste of money and my wife is heartbroken

My 14 year old daughter received a full head foil, with corrective toner to remove red that she previously put into her own hair. It turned out amazing! I called a few weeks before Christmas, and got in for an appointment on the 15th. I could tell they were really booked, which I consider to be a positive thing. I cannot remember the technician's name, who did her hair, but she was really friendly and easy to communicate ideas with, which led to the pretty hair color! I was blown away at the toner's removal of the orange tones, honestly, so the products here work great, too.
I will come back!
