Everything you need to experience the autumn with little ones is here: hay stack climbing, clean tractor ride, corn maze, corn kernel pit, sandbox, seesaws, animals of many kinds, and pumpkin picking, of course. We went on a normal day, no shopping, and it was a great time for my little ones (oldest is 6, youngest is crawling).

Our granddaughter and we loved our visit to the farm and its pumpkin patch. There was fun and food for all ages. The corn pit was a big hit as was the well laid out corn maze. Kudos to the Lloyd family!

Best pumpkin patch in Richmond! They have a good system of tractor rides to get you from the lot to the barn to the patch. The barn has food, coffee, a hay castle, sandbox, and (the kids favorite)a giant corn pit! There are also goats and chickens and horses, and a corn maze. The pumpkins are all grown on site, and they have a great variety we got a classic orange one, a blue-grey one, and a yellow one. All in all great!

I went with family so that the young kids could pick pumpkins. There were a lot of fun things for them to do also. There were several food vendors and the food was enjoyable for vendor food, one vendor who served hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries and very cold sodas was especially good.

Fantastic place! Perfect for a 5 year old. Corn maze was fun, but the corn pit was super unique! It was huge! Pumpkins, tractors, everything fun for fall!

This place is Great! My oldest son is in a wheelchair and he was able to go on a hayride along with everyone else, which is amazing. The corn maze was a good challenge and the tube slides were really neat. Everyone was super nice and helpful, including Mr Lloyd himself. Thanks so much Lloyd Family Farms. Cheers!

This was a leap of faith we decided to try. We drove from Aylett and we were quite surprised. The ticket line moved quickly, the wagon ride to the event part of the land was nice and it was just enough fun for my 6 yr old and my 19 yr old.. I joined in for the Corn Pit and the corn maze.. the girls got alittle artwork which we were all amazed at how easy she made it look. Food options were good, big and tasty. A few food trucks there. A great family day!! Pumpkins and gourds were amazing shapes, sizes and colors.

It was a fun experience! A little confusing at first when determining where to walk, but after the hay ride to the main event, it was pleasant. Quite a few food options that varied. The petting animals seemed apathetic towards us which is okay, the poor fellas were probably tired of dealing with people and the heat after a while.Make sure you wear jeans if you're going to be picking pumpkins! There are plants with briars scattered all along the pumpkin plants and they can ruin your clothes!

Really well organized family farm. They had lots of signs and staff to help visitors navigate their beautiful farm. We had a lovely family trip there and the pumpkin patch was full of a variety of sizes and colors. The corn maze was 10/10 in difficulty and after an hour and about 1.5 miles of walking we finally emerged at the end like refugees needing both water and shelter. It was still super fun!

The hay rides were running frequently and my 7 year old son enjoyed the hay castle, the two goats and the corn pit. The pumpkin patch itself was highly disappointing. It was a tenth of the size of last year and 90% of those pumpkins had already been picked and were just placed in a field for you grab, might as well go to the grocery store at least they have a better selection for much less.

We’ve had a great experience here for two years in a row. Wonderful activities for children, high quality pumpkins with plenty of unique shape and color options, and very well-run/organized. Even on a beautiful October Saturday when families were out in droves, we didn’t have to wait long for hayrides and everything was just top notch. The corn maze is EXPANSIVE and we actually got lost, haha (Found an escape route, though :) Highly recommend!

This has been our go-to farm for pumpkin picking the past few years. They do a great job with all of the activities and the patch is large. The parking situation is great, not too far from the entrance and lots of spaces. The lines move quickly and everyone is friendly. The price is affordable and a lot comes with the admittance fee. You get the big hay castle for kids to play in and on...the corn maze, the hayride down to the patch and back, you get to look at horses and there are many vendors available for additional purchase. We tend to spend a few hours there each year and love it. Lots of photo opportunities and quality time on a beautiful day. They also have birthday parties and event space for rent.

This was a really cute farm! Now, I'm not an outdoorsy farm gal, but I enjoyed watching my son have so much fun. We went during the day on a Friday and there was hardly anyone there. Tickets were $10 apiece and we spent about 1.5 hours riding the tractor, playing in the huge kids' area, people watching, looking at the animals, and of course picking pumpkins! There were plenty of pumpkins to choose from and we got 3. One thing I wish I'd thought of is that you have to have something to put them in after you pick them and until the tractor comes around to get you. for that reason, I think bringing a stroller wagon would be perfect. We just had to make a little pile of our pumpkins and then carry them on to the tractor. At the end, there's a large area where you can pay for your pumpkins as well as take photos, grab some flowers, etc. This is a well oiled machine and a great option for family fun!
