Our family was traveling to pick up a pup from our breeder and we were so happy to find Keenbell Farm! I did a search for the words organic, grass fed, pasture and beef. Several came up on my search in Google Maps, and after reading several websites, I stopped at this one. I must add that I am a nutritionist and very picky about my food on many different level. Keenbell Farm didn't disappoint. We left very happy with a larger cooler full of meat, at a great price! The cut selections are fantastic! They also have pork, chicken, honey, heirloom corn, soup bones, lard, tons of great items! Eddie was so informative and so friendly. We found our place and will be purchasing weekly! It's worth the drive! Thank you Keenbell Farm!

Worth driving through the snow for! Was happy the store was open during the current snow storm. It's the only place I like to get eggs. Fun that you get to drive by the chickens that are producing your eggs. Love the self-serve coolers. Thanks for having such easily accessible local options.

The most amazing place! We drove 45 minutes because it is the only farm that’s meat tastes amazing! Pure fresh farm to table tasting meat. They are also so sweet and such wonderful people. Highly recommend!

We gladly drive the 45 minutes from our home in Powhatan to pick up grass fed beef, pork, chicken, and eggs from Keenbell Farm! Everything has been delicious and high quality, the beef has a better flavor than anything you'll find at the grocery. The family is pleasant and personable, it's a pleasure to take the beautiful drive and purchase local meats from a wonderful family!

My wife and I wanted to try some of the meats this farm had to offer....so I drove 25+ miles to Keenbell farm, picked my meats out of freezer and went to pay with a credit card. Unfortunately the credit card machine was not working and instead of working with me (had no cash) and perhaps taking my CC information and a signature, or using venmo or zelle for a payment she proceeded to tell me I was rude for trying to find another way to get this done....maybe so but if you want to be in business then find a reliable way to complete the purchase...I won't be back again..if you go to this place take cash.

They are the best! Extremely high quality nutritional tasty meat and eggs! The humane way to raise and slaughter animals while attending to the Earth with excellent environmental practices. I am a lifelong customer 100%!!!! We all need to support our local farms and farmer’s markets. Let’s shut down the horror of processing plants and factory farms one person at a time!
