She did SO GOOD! Took an oversized dress I got from goodwill and made it so form fitting and comfortable. All 2 days earlier than originally expected! Fair price and fast, will definitely be back :)Services: Alterations

I brought in a bridesmaids dress for a hem and strap adjustments. I didn’t think to get a quote beforehand because they were both simple alterations but they ended up costing me a significant amount more than what the dress was even worth. I paid $100 more than any other bridesmaid for the same alterations. I was disappointed by the price but decided it was just a lesson learned to always get a quote in the future. Then I wore the dress the day of the wedding and was even more disappointed. The hem did not hold up at all. Strings kept tearing off and getting caught on everything (heels, shoe buckle, toes, other people stepping on them). I have never had a dress fall apart like this before and eventually had to tie my dress in a knot to avoid tripping on the strings all night.Service: Alterations

Amy (The Stitch Dr.) lives up to her name. I came in from out of town with a last minute bridesmaid dress alteration, needing a hem and shoulders taken in. Upon calling her she assured me she could handle it and have it back to me before my deadline. She has a cute and functional little shop and couldn’t be easier to communicate with. I am so thankful I ended up choosing to support this small business. She is truly talented. I could not have had a better experience.

Amy saved my wedding day! I came to her frantically a week before my wedding day with a wedding dress that still didn’t fit after alterations from another seamstress. She responded right away and had my wedding dress altered in 5 DAYS! She did this out of the kindness of her heart and worked the weekend just so my dress could be finished and comfortable for my big day. I will not use any other alteration service in the area moving forward - she truly is the stitch doctor!Service: Alterations

Amy is absolutely wonderful. She altered my skirt for Homecoming. Came in on a Friday for measurements and had my skirt done by Sunday. “2days”. I love my Homecoming skirt. Amy is very talented and pleasant to speak with. Thank you again Amy for everything.
