I'm catholic, you guys did great. But why do I have to go to the basilica to get a priest who doesn't have a Nigerian accent so thick I could shave it and make accent sandwiches . Come big guy! Its hard enough to find a Catholic church in this state but then u stick a priest in that can't understand. Let the priest bless the Eucharist and let some deacon with better English do the speaking

It sure is beautiful inside. The horns and organ are off. But still a great experience.

This was one of the nicest churches/Mass services I have ever attended in my 63+ years. What a beautiful space. I don’t know if it has been recently restored, but is in immaculate shape and everything was spot on. The dimensions of this church just feel so grand yet very intimate and welcoming. We are on a multi week summer vacation driving trip and I am so pleased that we popped in to Saint Andrews Basilica for our Sunday mass at 11 AM. God bless you all for worshiping God in such a beautiful and Heartfelt manner.

Ridiculous out of control decisions on who can or can't be a godfather. Instead of the child's uncle, baptized catholic, married in this church, daughter baptized in this church, wife and her family attend regularly, but has a work schedule that makes "regular" attendance difficult, priest approved someone who lives in Missouri, Has never seen the child, will probably not see the child more than 3 times in his childhood. No sense. This is the kind of nonsense, abuse of power that drives people away from the church.

I attended this beautiful church for many years. People are welcomed and Father Kevin always gives a great homily. I now live in Florida and I always try to attend Mass at St Andrews when I’m in Roanoke.

What a beautiful church with a magnificent atmosphere. We attended the Christmas Eve mass and it was so lovely. The music and sound inside transports you to a heavenly realm. This was our first time visiting and we were so glad we did.

I attended Mass twice at the Basilica of St. Andrew and it's a beautiful, reverent sanctuary in which to worship. The Homily was very well thought out and addressed the way in which the Gospel reading applied to the major events that were occuring in the world.Everyone was so warm & welcoming! I only wish that I lived in Roanoke so that I could go there on a regular basis!

My favorite Catholic Church in the Roanoke Valley area; and now it is a minor basilica! Reverent priests and deacon.

We went on a Saturday and it was closed, but we did walk around the outside of the cathedral and it was beautiful.

Beautiful place & kind people BUT, I wish they preached GOD'S Word & His definitions of a Christian, instead of their own. SHOCKED to hear them state in their service that John 3:3 Christians were explicitly NOT welcome to take communion. Then they only did HALF of what Christ commanded in 1 Corinthians 11:25 (which all Christians are to do in remembrance of Christ).I pray that congregation reads the Word of God for themselves, and upholds it to a proper & higher authority, than what any person or man made organization states.
