Little difficult to drop off angel tree donations, then staff seemed annoyed/inconvenienced.

They make it extremely hard to get assistance on anything. Especially bills over $100 which when seeking help it's usually bc the bills.are over that amount. I've been there 3 different times over the past few years and have yet to speak with someone who didn't seem annoyed. It's hard enough going to seek out help without being made to feel bad for doing so.

Philip Priest and the folks at the Roanoke Salvation Army are the best. They have helped with two funerals of my wife's family, and were tremendously helpful to members of my family over the years. I am grateful that dedicated people are still willing to help those in need.

I finally had the time too sit down and write a review. I came to Virginia to stay with a friend when I got there things didn’t work out so I turned to turning point I forgot the lady name ( please forgive me) but she was an angel straight out of heaven she did her best to help me. Did everything she should to assist me with getting back to Florida . In all honestly they treated me better than they would treat me down here in Florida . Although things were not good when left Florida and drove to Virginia I believe that god placed me there for a reason so I could see the other side of the world and that small trip and the people that treated me so nicely and loved on me and my kids made me fall in love with Virginia to the point where Me. My husband , and my children will be moving to Virginia for the new year now that my husband is back . Thank you all so much for all that you have done for me and my kids and when I come back in town I will be dropping off a special gift to the lady to assisted me .

This is NOT the Salvation Army Thrift store-- it's an administrative office. If you call the number they can give the telephone number and address for it though.
