This place is great. Roger knows what he's doing .. he's been working in this field for a long time. They also have a huge selection of everything related to jewelry. Trust me, Bishop's is the "go-to" place for jewelry, repairs, etc.- Scott S.

When I called, an elderly woman answered the phone. I asked her if they had experience repairing plaitinum jewlery and if they had a laser welder to do it. She snapped back at me, "I can't understand you!" and HUNG UP on me. I do not have an accent and enunciated my words clearly. I wanted to inform the owner about the experience I had and suggest they get someone else to answer their phone. However, I didn't want to get immediately hung up on again. This prompted me to look at other reviews. Yikes! I'm actually glad she hung up on me. It seems like I dodged a bullet by avoiding this business!

Took in my wedding set to be cleaned, polished and dipped and two pendants to be engraved. Found out they SHIP the jewelry to Washington State and the turn around is two weeks. The big chains would have turned it around in two days. I inquired why they would ship jewelry so far away and not have the work done locally and received some lame excuse about Mr Bishop being 80yrs old. I made an attempt to support a local small business and was extremely disappointed. A jeweler that doesn’t jeweler.

If I could give this negative stars, then I would. Mr. Bishop accepted my watch saying that he could do the work I was wanting done. He couldn’t. As a matter of fact, I was told my watch was done, went to pick it up, and he hadn’t put three out of the four parts I had given him to put on my watch. I asked him about it, and he wasn’t even sure where the parts were! I finally pick it up a week later when it was supposedly officially done, but he installed one of the parts wrong probably breaking it and the movement stopped while I was wearing it. I called him about it and he was like “it was nothing that I did”. Come on man.

Terrible Experience. I dropped a $3000 ring off to get sized and when I went back to pick it up a week later a diamond was missing from my ring. they told me that there was nothing they could do about it and that I needed to just take it back to where I got it from. they failed to tell me that they weren’t responsible for missing stones before sizing the ring. so another words after he realized the stone was missing he mentioned that they weren’t responsible. terrible experience I am so upset.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The middle aged gentleman treated my veteran grandfather as if he was inconvenience and made a show of having to take a pill out of frustration? from dealing with him. I'm sorry the man who helped liberate a concentration camp took ten minutes of your time and is hard of hearing at 91. None of my family nor myself will ever darken your doorstep again.

I needed to have a ring fixed as the band was very thin and broken from the previous resized job at another store. I had a positive experience at Bishop's before, so I decided to go there for estimate. Mr. Bishop recommend a specific repair and I felt the cost was fair for the job. When I got the ring back it exceeded my expectations. The entire bottom band was replaced and it looked like it was original. I had not worn this ring for many years due to the thin, broken band. This ring is very sentimental to me as my Grandfather gave it to me in 2006, and he wore this ring since 1953. I couldn't say thank you enough as I was leaving the store. If you have a heirloom that needs repair, entrust Bishop's!

I really like this jewelry store. It is family owned and all the people are very nice. I had a ring sized and a bracelet hook replaced. The prices were fabulous. Much lower than all the jewelry stores at the Mall.
