Perfect for pedestrians, and surprisingly well-stocked with a variety of choices for its size.It lacks a hot bar, which is unsurprising, but it does have a ton of "grab & go" items, many of which (I imagine) are imported from the kitchen at the Grandin Co+op 2 miles away. Meanwhile, there are baked goods and produce, beverages galore, and plenty of grocery-store staples.The staff are uniformly excellent -- friendly and engaging. This is the ideal place for those occasions on which you need a snack, but don't feel good about it being Powerade and Fritos.

Good salads and cold foods and healthy drinks. The salad I had had sunflower seeds, carrots, black olives, lettuce, and tomatoes in it.

Coolest shop downtown. It's snacktopia, with an impressive array of ready-to-drink beverages, an appropriate selection of touristy/local swag/apparel, and cheap/healthy deli options without the dine-in price tag. They gave away apples and bananas to trick or treaters for Halloween. ?

Located conveniently downtown, next to the Farmer's Market. It's great to stop in if you want a coffee, cold beverage, quick snack, or to peruse around a bit. They sell clothing from a local company (Roanoke Made @ RoanokeMade.Com) that withholds cool Roanoke related screen-prints such as the Roanoke Star, and they have a neat McAfee's Knob shirt. The workers here have been super kind the handful of times that we've stepped in.

Really cute to-go style version of the larger grocery store located in Grandin. They have deli as well as pantry goods and my favorite part is the kombucha and coffee on tap!
