Rivers Edge used to be a national guard armory where the army would deploy. They have moved that and replaced it with a big field for soccer ⚽️ and loads of parking space and places to walk. That's it really until the fourth of July to do fireworks, it's good for just sitting and walking.
The other side of the rivers edge is a baseball field where they play baseball ⚾️ once or twice a month during the season.
The hospital is nearby, and there's a Marriott hotel. I think nearby also.
Toilets: Porter potty.
Dog-friendliness: Leafs of room for the dogs to run in the field of there's not a game going on. Plenty of walk space.

Toilets: The restrooms would be more approachable if there weren't so many homeless congregating there during game times

Nice park. Lots of good equipment for the kids to play on. The only drawback was a large number of beer bottles and cans around the park.

Great park with a variety of play structures, all fairly new. Also good tennis courts and a practice half court.
Playground: Has water fountain and porta-john nearby.
Picnic area: Gazebo with amble seating.

Nice park to walk around. I like the little water fountain. During the spring, it is enjoyable to see the cherry blossom.

I use it for playing with four legged friends and it's good (It would be a great area, like near the mural and river for an off leash dog park). It has Greenway access and fields for sports. When I have been there it hasn't been very busy even when a youth sports game was going on. You can tell money was spent on the area and I am kinda waiting to get a ticket for having my dog off leash (well behaved and away from people) which might change my opinion.Dog-friendliness: Over in front of the mural, there is a large area away from people that I let my dogs run around and chase balls. I don't know if at some point I'll get a "talking too" but they are well behaved and trained off leash.
