My mother and Mimi used PODS recently and I am so upset and displeased as how they have been treated. A woman who just lost her husband and and had to move from their home, PODS lied about the delivery date, now that it's pick up day they have already pushed her time back again, she/we can never get an actual person on the phone. It's ridiculous and very unorganized. My mother was in a house without furniture or anything for almost a week.

We used PODS to move when we were moving from our home of 19 years.. our delivery date was changed 2 times to have the pod delivered to our new home, we were called at 7p the night before delivery- mind you this was after we had already moved to the new home. When speaking with the 1st representative it took almost 15 mins to get a clear response as to why our delivery had been changed after confirming. Then when speaking to a supervisor she offered 100.00 credit due to the inconvenience of having to wait an additional 2 days to get our items. As of today - a day after the POD was delivered I called back due to getting yet another charge, which did not reflect the credit, only to be told sorry your request for a credit was denied. I also called to state the POD was empty and they could come get as they literally sat it in the middle of our driveway and have been told sorry you have to wait til the 20th for pick up. The driver proceeded to throw cigarette butts on our driveway as well. This is the worst customer service I have received. We will not use them again. No sorry or how can we fix this.. very frustrated as this was suppose to help us and only made matters worse

Pods have been absolutely terrible. Customer service is practically useless to get anything done. It seems the rep read to me a script.
After talking with customer service and providing the dimensions of our driveway, the agent guaranteed that our pods will fit in the driveway. Only for pods to deliver and tell me that was not the case. We now have two small pods sitting on our street, with our HOA not happy. That sucks moving to a new neighborhood.
Then…we were scheduled for pick up of the PODS on August 3 - one week after we were done unloading. Only to find out the day before that “due to unforeseen circumstances” they rescheduled us to August 8. Meaning, we will continue to miss our mail, not use our driveway, and inconvenience us for another 5 days. Which is unacceptable. When we called customer service, there was nothing they can do but put in a “ticket”. Customer service was not able to help the customer - imagine that. Every time we called customer service we were promised someone was going to follow up, we never heard from them. This means we will have these containers over two weeks empty. Unacceptable!
If I move again, I would go back to other moving solutions, because this has been an overpaid disaster.

I was pleased in all aspects of my using PODS, the container was clean and sturdy, the drivers were GREAT, the scheduling was perfect, except the friendly, helpful Customer Service rep taking in my order told me the wrong weight limit for the size POD I ordered and I sent the container out half full. It caused me to leave things behind and extra to move the rest.

Terrible business practices, closed on a Saturday, said it was open on their website and on Google, verified the pickup the night before only to show up after a 2 hour drive and hundreds of miles and dollars down the drain to an empty lot and warehouse, called them directely only to be told that "something came up and they couldn't any get anyone to come in drivers or supervisors", nothing. I would never recommend this business.

Had a very negative experience, my pod was due to be picked up today, verified last night on the phone and through text message just to arrive to no one being here even though they said they were open online. Customer service is very unhelpful and the manager or drivers would not come to assist us after driving 2 hours to pick up our pod. Highly unprofessional and very disappointing, I could go on but that would be even more of a waste of my time.

Pods was a great option moving from coast to coast, the whole process was smooth and easy to coordinate. The rate was reasonable considering we stored the large pod for almost 6 weeks and then had it shipped from California to Virginia. It’s funny because from the outside the pod didn’t look that big, but ALL of our stuff fit inside just fine. The scheduling people and the drivers were all courteous and helpful, and it eased my mind getting all of the email/online updates as we went along.

The driver's inconvenience were great. But 500 for a two mile move and one week storage is a bit too expensive..

Pods was a great experience, we loaded up, they picked up and gave us the date we chose for the delivery. Easy as pie. On time , great people , even offered to help un pack the contents, not that I needed help, but a great jester, will use pods again if I decide to move again ( most likely will not move again I hate moving , lol )

PODS was amazing! They offered reasonable rates and the flexibility that was given to me as I needed to change some pickup dates was outstanding. We even finished unpacking the PODS earlier than expected, and it was able to be picked up several days earlier. Moving is hard, and moving to a different state had its challenges. The PODS company was reliable and I was truly impressed with their service. I would highly recommend them to those who would choose a more “DIY” approach to packing.

I ordered a Pod two weeks ago. Day of delivery after I had movers lined up the delivery driver calls and says they only have the largest or smallest available. We didn't have the flexibility to change the date so I asked if they could upgrade to a large at no extra cost. This took a 45 minutes phone call during my working hours to CSR. The rep was nice, but after he said the charges were amended, my credit card was charged $225 more. Had to make another call to customer service. Found out I have to wait 7 to 10 days to get a refund for their error. Also found out they can only pickup certain days so I can't really keep it for a month and since our project won't be completed until 10/28, they intend to charge for another month at the bigger POD rate. So far nearly 2hr of my time spend to try to fix their error.

Pods took the job (3,pods in all) and refused to finish it,saying my destination is too far,which is in VA ,my pods are in VA,but they bought my Pod from Florida.They have no problem charging up my credit card.
They even admitted they made a mistake when they booked the job and are still charging my credit card for rent on the pods while they sit in their warehouse in VA and not deliver my 3 pods.
