Got to work with Carol and she was brilliant. Got all the paperwork prepared before me getting to the dealership, so the whole purchase process was super quick. She even picked me up from the hotel since I was flying in from out of town the night before!

Nightmare experience today. Had an appointment for over a month and drove an hour to take our Mercedes vehicle to the service center in Roanoke VA. When we arrived, they had no record of our appointment, no apology, and told us “they would get to it when could.” Btw, since then, other friends have told us they have had the same experience. The next day when we asked for a status update, they told us they didn’t do warranty work on the (very expensive) defective tires the dealership had installed only a few month prior. Basically telling us it was our problem not theirs. For clarification, when the appointment was made, we were very clear about the reason for the visit and wanted to make sure they would handle the warranty work. When we contacted the tire manufacturer, they set up a work order and said the service center just needed to call them once they looked at the tire and everything would be seamless for us. The tire manufacturer said that any company that sells their tires must agree to handling warranty work. We called Mercedes back and they got defensive and made a big deal about all the work they would have to do and that is why they don’t handle warranty work. So we stopped the work and picked up our vehicle. It’s a shame for Mercedes bc we were also purchasing and installing 4 new tires AND planning on purchasing an SUV from the dealership. We will drive further away to go to a reputable dealership with a reputable service department that provides top of the line service.

Carol is the best person we have ever done car business with! There was no pressure and everything was completed professionally. Carol treated us like we were old friends and that made buying a car that much more fun! The business office was very professional and we enjoyed signing all the paperwork.
I would recommend Carol to anyone who wants to buy a car. She made sure we understood the important features of our new car. Ask for Carol when you visit Roanoke’s Mercedes dealership. You will be happy that you did!

Every time I take any of our 6 vehicles to service I have no worries Kyle always take great care to insure that everything is done correctly and that I have a loaner on hand ready to go. I highly recommend that you use Berglund Mercedes Roanoke.

7/23/2024 - Significant update to follow. Stay tuned.
Despite having bought my MB via this dealership years ago (not Berglund then). Be warned that their policy is to refuse serving MB's older than 10 model years. I'm stuck with a dead vehicle in my driveway less than 2 miles from the dealership that had previously provided service but the current ownership has politely advised me to go elsewhere. Contacted MB corporate. They, in turn, reached out to the dealership and were given the same rationalization I received. Any chance of buying another MB via this dealership just flew out the window. For the record, I buy not lease and keep my vehicles maintained and running. This is the Mrs. ride and we have been planning to replace it. Never encountered this before with MB or other brands.

Our advisor Caylin was amazing. We were on the road traveling from Florida to Canada via Salem, VA and these guys managed to squeeze us in for an emergency repair to our Sprinter Van. Without them, our journey would have ended. Great communication throughout and even helped us make sure the work was covered under warranty, amazing, definitely check them out to purchase or get repairs to a vehicle

So today my husband Tony and I did a thing. We purchased our first ever Mercedes. We originally thought we wanted a larger SUV but once I saw the GLE350 in the showroom I instantly fell in love. Carol Thompson has worked with us in all of our vehicle purchases in the past so there was no one else we wanted to help us with this purchase. My husband and I just today made our third Mercedes purchase today and our first from Carol Thompson in Roanoke, VA and we have not only just had the most amazing buying experience but feel as if we’ve made a trusted friend! Carol was the best at finding a good balance between allowing the customer to lead the process in terms of selections yet offering helpful insights and guiding us to the exact car for us. We are driving off in what we believe to be the most beautiful car on the lot! Thank you Carol! Her customer service is 10 stars but I could only offer 5!
