The owner/salesperson was most hospitable and extremely courteous.. the selections ranged from paintings , jewelry, wood carvings etc… I highly suggest everyone to visit this store ?

I was pleasantly shocked at the level of talent I found when I visited The Market Gallery in Roanoke. Annie Schultz's "Evening Light Downtown" reminded me of Georgia O'Keeffe's painting of New York at Night. Everywhere I turned I found incredible pieces of art by regional artist. I saw so many beautiful and creative pieces that I literally had to sit down and just look for a while. (I'm not an artist but a great appreciator) The clerk was friendly and happy to answer questions about the work. The prices are reasonable and vary depending on size, subject matter and other factors, I'm sure. It was time well spent and I will be back often. I'm told they feature different artists monthly.
