My mother has waited almost two weeks for her medication, Plavix. That medication keeps her from getting blood clots. Unfortunately, she had to have stents put in her legs because of blood clots. I am very, very concerned about her. And, because of the cold weather, she has been unable to walk, per her doctor's orders. I don't understand what is going on with the pharmacy, but this is absolutely crazy. She has done everything she can do to get her prescription filled, but the pharmacy is telling her that they don't have it in stock, they are swamped with customers, etc. This is unacceptable. I am going to go by there today, and if it is not there, I will have no other choice but to turn Kroger at Cave Spring in. If my mother begins to have symptoms of clotting, I believe Kroger will be liable. Absolutely not the kind of care Kroger says they give their customers. Very dissatisfied.

I can no longer support this pharmacy. The level of service is beyond poor and if I could rate it below one star I would. I have had nothing but issues for the last couple weeks. Delays on filling prescriptions that needed to be taken the day they were sent in. Some were not filled for two+ days and I had to start contacting other pharmacies. I tried numerous time to contact this location for an explanation, and the phone never gets answered.I would highly recommended considering a different establishment for you prescription needs.

You’re better off driving across the Atlantic Ocean to Europe and picking up an order that is correct then getting anything from this pharmacy. Dr’s office will send it in WITH PROOF and this pharmacy will LIE about it and say they never got it.

I never leave bad reviews but this place is ridiculous. There is always a huge line of at least 20 people. Now I come here at 2:30 on a Wednesday afternoon and it's closed. People are already lining up to beat the inevitable wait once they finally decide to open. Totally out of control. I agree with other reviews; this place needs to be shut down!

Has gone way downhill. No drive through, they NEVER answer their phones or voicemails. The line is typically 15+ people long by the time I get there after work - and even midday it can be that long. Transferring all of your ur medications - I’ve had enough of the blatant disrespect from this pharmacy.

I can no longer support this pharmacy and will be transferring all our pharmacy needs. Kroger needs to fix their pharmacy staffing issues. We have been patient enough. It should not take hours and multiple trips to get an antibiotic prescription.

Today I got a flu shot and TDAP at the Cave Spring Kroger Pharmacy. The phamacy was very busy and I waited a little past my appointment time, but all the pharmacy associates were very engaged with assisting customers. I received the painless shots from a very professional and knowledgeable staff who also intelligently answered my COVID Booster questions. I got my last shots at Walgreens, and this experience was more pleasant, with much less waiting, and a more organized and efficient atmosphere than that of Walgreens. Will definitely be scheduling and returning to this more skillful and capable staff.

The service at Cave Spring Kroger pharmacy has really taken a nose dive lately. I had surgery yesterday morning and the doc sent in a prescription for a pain med. I never heard a peep from the pharmacy. Tried calling several times and they wouldn't answer the phone. After being in pain all day and evening, my wife finally went up at 7:30 to check on my med...only to be told they couldn't fill it. Not calling as soon as they discovered they couldn't fill it is pretty crappy service.

Used to be a tech at Kroger in 2016. We’d pump out prescriptions no issue even short staffed (we’d take in drop offs, clear the entire queue, and handle the counter very quickly and efficiently). Came here to pick up a family members medications and the line yesterday was 1 hour and 47 minutes. They had a tech and two pharmacists. Had we moved that slow and that inefficiently we’d have been fired in 2016. Last week it was a 40 minute wait but seeing other comments and having two experiences now - this is just an inefficient pharmacy that’s very slow and the staff doesn’t care about working harder/faster/more efficiently. Get your scripts filled at another Kroger or another pharmacy altogether unless you like waiting forever to pick up your meds.

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT fill your prescription at this pharmacy. I don't know what has happened to this Kroger pharmacy, but it is completely out of control and should be shut down. There is continuously a late filling of prescriptions, they are always short-staffed, and the last 3 times I have tried to pick up a prescription, the line is to the entrance of Kroger and other patrons have complained of waiting in line for over an hour. This is completely unacceptable for a pharmacy and people who may need life saving medication. I don't know if they've had continuous turnover or if they have continued to underpay their staff (who have now moved on to greener pastures I presume), but this pharmacy is completely out of control and should be permanently closed. I highly recommend you fill your scripts ANYWHERE ELSE. There is also a Walgreens pharmacy right beside this Kroger. I recommend going there!
