I love that even though I’m a “newbie”, I was made to feel welcome in the class (Aquabilities with Nancy). I also really like how clean and organized the facility is. My only wish is that there were tanning beds!

Pros: -The facility is nice, clean, and welcoming. -the staff are friendly and neighborly in my experience. -refer a friend helps save a little bit of money on memberships. -indoor track right outside of the gym. Cons: -expensive. No real discount unless you're a student. No veteran's discount like other YMCAs that I've been a member of. For what we pay as a couple we could get a CrossFit membership for a few dollars more. -the gym is very crowded in the morning (the only time I can go. Unsure about afternoon times). Expect wait times on most everything. -only one size barbell (20kg/45lbs). Personally, I like a variety for different exercises. Such as a 15kg and even a 10kg barbell. I have not been to the pool or have taken any programs/classes so I cannot speak on those. Hope this helps.

Been a member for 15+ years. Great atmosphere physically, mentally and spiritually. An anomaly of such diverse people of all different backgrounds that seemingly "just get along" with each other. I call it home.

They need more spaces with free weights and mats that aren’t crammed into corners with all of the machines and barbells. Only one studio has space and weights available which 90% of the time you can’t use and when it’s empty they keep locked or kick you out even though you’re a paying member. And the other studio “virtual studio” doesn’t have weights or mats available for use. You are limited to just machines or barbells and free weights in corners unless you’re lucky enough to find a space in front of the mirror, don’t count on that. They could do so much with this space and offer more for their members if they just rearranged the main floor and added weights to the virtual space. Really disappointing.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the local YMCA facility, and I must say that I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the showers and locker room. It was evident that the management has neglected the cleanliness and maintenance of these areas, leading to an unsatisfactory experience for the visitors.First and foremost, the showers were in an appalling state. The floors were grimy, covered in dirt and grime, indicating a lack of regular cleaning. The walls were stained, and the shower curtains appeared to have not been replaced in quite some time. The overall hygiene of the showers left a lot to be desired, making it an unpleasant and uninviting environment for anyone hoping to freshen up after a workout. The locker room was no better. The floors were littered with debris, including used towels and discarded personal items. It was clear that the custodial staff had not been diligent in their cleaning duties. The smell was also quite unpleasant, suggesting that proper ventilation and deodorizing measures were not being implemented. It was disheartening to see such a lack of attention to basic cleanliness and upkeep.Furthermore, I was dissatisfied with the fact that the facility was using a single male from the family locker room. This practice is not only inconvenient but also raises concerns about privacy and security. Families with young children or individuals who prefer more privacy should have the option to utilize dedicated spaces designed specifically for their needs. Combining them with other areas compromises the comfort and safety of all users. As a member of the YMCA, I expect higher standards when it comes to cleanliness and the provision of appropriate facilities. It is crucial for management to recognize the importance of maintaining a clean and hygienic environment to ensure the well-being and satisfaction of their patrons. Regular cleaning schedules, improved hygiene practices, and separate locker rooms for families and individuals are necessary steps that the management should take to address these issues.I hope that the YMCA management takes these concerns seriously and takes immediate action to rectify the situation. Visitors should be able to enjoy a pleasant and comfortable experience at the facility, and I believe that with the necessary improvements, the YMCA can once again become a desirable place for fitness and recreation.

It seems like rules arent really implemented here. For example I have already had numerous occasions of witnessing children under the age of 12 in the gym area as young as toddlers just running around. Additionally it seems kids/teens are allowed to just run wildly throughout the facility and be loud. All the equipment here appears to be run down and well kept up with.Disappointing as I just joined last week and will be cancelling after this month.

Excellent workout center with solid amenities. Only there once due to travel but would make this a regular workout spot if I lived in the area

Staying healthy is the most important aspect of our lives. The YMCA gives everyone a great opportunity to explore exercise, therapy to relax and fellowship. Taking the time to exercise, the dedication involved to work out, especially when you don't feel like it far exceeds the expense, time and depression involved going to the hospital.
