I used this facility under the belief it was climate controlled and would keep my belongings safe and in good condition. After less than a year, I discovered significant water damage to many of the items in my unit (mattresses, dresser, couch, etc) resulting from some sort of exposure to water after having my items in what is supposed to be protected from this. When I spoke with someone about it, I was told rental insurance would have to take care of it as they were not responsible. There was a puddle in the middle of the unit when I moved out as well. While staff are respectful, I would not use again because of quality of the space, especially given the price. If you do not want items ruined, do not book here.

UNDER POOR MANAGEMENTDoors and keypads always broken. Can't access your belongings at your convenience. I cant get in at all right now, no one can and manager is aware. She isnt coming out to "reset" the system as she calls it.Bums running around freely in parking lot all hours of the night while you're trying to find a way in.I also paid for truck parking in the back. Kids from flea market running around throwing rocks and throwing footballs in back lot. Tried to play around trucks and I ran them off. I'm not gonna be responsible for kids getting hurt. I asked twice that no trespassing signs be put up and Laurie refused so I would rethink parking a truck here. It truly is at your own risk and they will do nothing to deter those who aren't supposed to be back there.Staff is friendly until you say something they don't like, then you get accused of threatening them and you get a moving notice. I threatened NO ONE at ANY TIME!!!!!Many moving out right now. I would suggest rethinking renting from here.

There's a lady that works there that's very rude Makes you feel uncomfortable while putting storage away and she always walks past you as if you doing something wrong doesn't ask if you need help with anything or anything she just keeps walking past you and saying rude things like when are you going to be done or be quiet you're too loud or yeah your car exhaust your car has been running way too long video thing desk that that he thinks that she can say to hurt your feelings I feel that she'l think that she thinks owns building. N if so I think I should move my things to another unit

Laurie was AMAZING! Moved back to Roanoke from Oregon, needed storage and a place for our RV. She made it all work for us! Truly grateful. This is the best storage facility in Roanoke!! It's very private and we love the enclosed gated entry!

Very friendly staff plus nice that its indoors so no matter the weather you have no trouble & its nice that you can come and go as it fits your schedule sence its open 24hrs a day once paperwork is done.

Really nice new facility. Lots of units, all inside. I like that it's a drive thru, your car is inside for loading/unloading so weather doesn't matter.

I was coming in from several states away, and I had to trust my intuition, and the recommendation of others. I was not disappointed! Right from the beginning, dealing with the manager, Laurie, I was completely taken care of. Customer service and friendliness is number one in my world, as I worked in a customer service position for over fifty years. Once I arrived, it was important for me to feel safe, in storing my things. The facility is safe, super clean, and protected from the weather. As much as I’d like to find my forever home, I feel absolutely no rush to remove my belongings. I can take my time and move at a snails pace if I need to, knowing my things are protected.

Fort Knox is where I rent a Box, larger than life, temperd to perfect comfort. Mann it really Rocks. Clean friendly and very, very, nice!So happy with my Box, Fort Knox dont even think twice! I would not change anything, but to get another box from two friendly women who share there smiles even when im lost, or I forgot my key or combo. Im always welcome twenty four seven.*Here at Fort Knox*
